Itâs very handy though when you want to procrastinate. Or need to be cheered up by cute animal videos.

You shouldâve just parited all Saturday to be honest. Be case we both know we are going to have no time for that after Cheerealding starters.
I partied Saturday night some. I canât exactly party during the day, even if I want to because no one else does. Iâll find time. You know me.Â
shesgotmaxxie:
Iâm not even sure if thatâs possible to watch all of those episodes in less then a week.
Iâd have to give up sleep, school, and partying to do so. Maybe even eating.
hrhlucas:
I went to the beach with a friend. And Iâm not sure what Iâm doing tomorrow. Practicing moves sounds like itâs fun for you.
Iâm jealous. I love going to the beach. It was fun, I had a good time and this way I wonât feel so over my head when cheer starts.

At least weâre one week closer to the end of the school year. That sounds like a funâŠSaturday. I get to work all weekend.Â
One week down and how many more to go? Where do you work?

Santana watched Maggie, debating whether she felt more comfortable sitting here or whether it looked more fun to actually get in the water. She waited for the other girl to surface at least. âOh, I know,â she said, finally slipping down and suppressing a gasp at the cool water on her hot skin. It felt really nice once sheâd committed to it, though, and she pushed the water around with a smile. âBut even Coach has never had to deal with the stuff thatâs going on this year. All the cameras? Itâs crazy. Iâm surprised more weird stuff hasnât happened. Or maybe weâll just find out things we didnât even know happened when it airs Tuesday.â Santana gave a playful splash towards Maggie, although she wasnât really trying to get her wet. It only went a few inches. âAre you nervous?â
Maggie watched amused, as Santana had this look as to whether or not she was going to join her in the water. After what seemed like forever, Santana finally slipped in and Maggie let out a cheer followed by a chuckle as the girl let out a gasp. âYeah, there is that, but honestly Iâm just trying to ignore it, to not let it get to me and pretend like itâs not even there and happening. I am interested to see what Iâve missed though, what theyâve captured. Are we even allowed to watch it?â Crinkling her nose up at the splash Maggie flicked some water in Santanaâs direction lazily. âNervous? About what?â
F2F // Another Friday Night: JJ & Maggie
josephjsmythe:
JJ tried not to fidget nervously as Maggie just continued to smile at him, her eyebrows raised. He knew that would be a dead giveaway to the continued nerves. He almost sighed in relief when she seemed to drop the subject, and he shifted his focus to the road ahead of them, gripping the side of the seat as someone honked. âDamn impatient people.â He muttered under his breath. JJ nodded when Maggie said they were going to have fun. âI know we are. Definitely. Lots of fun.â He just had to believe it. Right. He rolled his eyes a bit when Maggie told him to smile a little bit. But he smiled at her anyways, hoping it didnât seem too forced. It wasnât like the idea of hanging out with Maggie was that horrible. He loved hanging out with her. It was just usually in different settings. âIâm ready.â JJ replied, slipping out of the car after her. He let her grab his hand, heading to the house. âDrink sounds good. Youâre not going to give me something awful, are you, if I trust you?â He imagined Maggie knew a lot more about alcohol than he did. He was pretty sure Maggie wouldnât give him something that could kill him. He hopped not, at least. He looked around the house, a little nervous about being in the house of someone he didnât know. But maybe that would be a good thing. No one would have expectations for him. âIâll try not to embarrass you.â JJ told her, squeezing her hand in time with his words.
Letting out a laugh when JJ at least humored her, Maggie knew she was going to have to get the boy to open up a little bit more for him to have the most fun and get the most out of the night. It wasnât going to be easy, but she was always up for the challenge, and knew sheâd get him there eventually. Even if it took a few drinks in. And that was the first stop, once they entered the booming and bustling house where the party was. Tugging on JJâs arm, Maggie pulled them to where she assumed the kitchen was, down the hall where a few people were hanging out. Grabbing a few things she knew was to be good, she poured some of the strong stuff at the bottom before holding up sprite and pointing at the orange juice. âYou wonât embarrass me, okay? Just promise me youâll try to have fun though. And what do you want? You can try beer but it isnât that good as a starter. My favorite is sprite with the strong stuff and OJ. Whatâs your favorite soda?â

I think I can handle just buying you some snacks. Unless you decide to buy the entire snackbar. I donât think my wallet can handle that, Maggie. Theyâre pretty Sci-fi. Theyâre old though, but theyâre like on the level of Star Trek and Star Wars. They just never had successful movies for them. Donât worry, Iâll warn you if you ever try to pick them up. Thatâs⊠well a pretty good path to take, I guess. Iâm not sure if I could do that, even if Iâm not exactly grouchy. Smiling too much makes me feel weird. Hey! Itâs been a while since I read it, itâs not my fault. Good. Please spare me a rant. Hmm. I mean, I love Twizzlers. Starbursts are good but I donât eat them too much. I guess for chocolate, Iâm a sucker for Reeseâs or Kit Kats or Mounds Bars on occasion. I am pretty good at reading your mood. Itâs from hanging out with you way too much for movies. Iâll try not to give you the wrong thing. I mean, Iâd say Captain America but Iâm not blonde enough for that. Iâll leave that to Sam. Maybe Hawkeye? Though heâs pretty tough and Iâm - well not really tough at all. Think I could do Bruce? Though Iâm not sure how youâd dress up as Bruce unless I went as the Hulk and I donât think I want to wander around in just shorts. I did, yeah. None of those team match ups surprise me. They work along the lines of the comics and the movies. It should be interesting. I mean, I think people might be a little surprised about Hawkeye being Team Cap but I think it makes sense. Hawkeye has a family, he wouldnât want to have to register and put them in danger. I wish they had mixed it up instead of giving us the same origin story repeatedly, but maybe theyâll make it good.
I have a big appetite but it isnât that big. Maybe if I hadnât eaten all day, though thatâs another story. Well, I like some sort of sci-fi, but just to an extent. Like I enjoy Star Wars but it isnât my favorite. Donât kick me out of the club for saying that, either. Smiling too much makes you feel weird? But you have a nice smile, you should try to do it more often because you may have a little bit more fun that way. And Reeseâs are probably one of my favorites too, so I understand that one for sure. Are you complaining about hanging out with me too much at movies because itâd probably cost me more but I could go on my own, you know. I like your company. Hawkeye would be a good one! Considering heâs one of my favorites for sure and you could totally pull him off. Now letâs decide who I should dress up as. Scarlet Witch? That way she and Hawkeye would go together if thatâs who you decided with. Really? Not even Black Widow with Iron Man? And I can see Hawkeye being with Captain America but Black Widow with Iron Man? Iâll just have to see it to believe it.Â
getlikegaby:
Thatâs probably a better goal. I think two different views are fun, though. Trying to convince someone why youâre right and their argument is invalid is always interesting. I hope there are more reasons why you like me, but Iâll take it. Okay, great, well, maybe sometime after lunch, then?
But sometimes the other person just doesnât see your way so I almost feel like Iâm wasting my time and energy when I could be having fun with them and just ignoring it. Well, yeah, I mean, have you met you? There are tons of reasons your likable, Gaby. Sure. Sometime after lunch. Iâm yours.
awildedaisy:
Not a real one, just almost.
I donât even know what thatâs called but it still doesnât sound like a good idea?

Santana kicked her legs gently, just enjoying the feel of the cold water while the sun heated her skin. âHey, weâve always gotta start somewhere. And yeah, definitely. Iâm excited too, as long as everyone else is on board.â
Maggie ducked under the water, getting her hair wet and enjoying the cool water on her skin before resurfacing and grinning at the girl across from her, still sitting on the edge. âYouâre right. And me too. But they really shouldnât even be on the team if they arenât willing to work hard and be the best. And coach knows that.â
smrtypantszoe:
I hardly think one more week of rest will make you rusty.Â
Iâm doing a little bit of both today, just to be sure.

temptingtana:
Santana looked over at Maggie, setting her towel down on a chair. âSome of those moves are a serious workout. Did you come up with them on purpose?â She laughed softly, walking to the edge of the pool and sitting down, dipping her legs in. âBut really, thatâs some good stuff. I feel better now that we went over that.â
Taking the towel she had brought with her and laying it near Santanaâs, Maggie stretched a little bit before adjusting her bathing suit, and taking a seat a few spots away from Santana. Letting out a laugh herself, Maggie shrugged her shoulders, cheeks flushed just lightly at the comment. Sliding off the edge and into the pool, she allowed herself a chance to relax after all the hard work they had done already. âMaybe. But itâs just a start. And you think so? I do too. Makes me feel less nervous for cheer to start.â
smrtypantszoe:
Why would you do that to yourself? Isnât the season starting punishment enough?
Because I enjoy doing it. And I want to help us get to nationals this year. Canât be rusty.
getlikegaby:
Thatâs good, but also not, because itâs difficult to always be on the same page as everyone. I think you have to change your own views and opinions for that to always work, and who wants to do that? Oh, definitely. I donât even know most peopleâs titles, so Iâm definitely not judging anybody based on them. Sunday afternoon works for me. Iâll text you in the morning or something?
It is, but I can always try to meet in the middle, at the least. That way weâre both winners, right? I donât mind if people have a different view than me, and Iâm not going to try to change theirs, so as long as weâre both good with that. See? I knew there was a reason why I liked you. There you go. Sure, yeah. Iâm pretty sure Iâm available all day Sunday anyways, so whenever is good with me.
smrtypantszoe:
ButâŠwhy?
Why what?
