I’ve been performing a lot of self analyzation over the past few weeks because, believe it or not, I still suffer from dysphoria. It didn’t come easy, but after much thought I realize a major source of dysphoria for me is my crotch. I’m not sure how much longer I can go before I need to get my new vagina installed. Hiding it completely changes my perspective of my body and I feel like a woman, albeit temporarily, but the rest of the time I just… don’t and it’s very very distressing. Trans people can’t put dysphoria into words how distressing it feels to be disconnected from yourself but believe me, it makes the strongest cry (and worse). I’m finally looking for a surgeon to get my first consultation to see what I’m looking at financially. I still hope to be a trans p star, but my mental health is more important.
