A popular drink in the Andes is a mix of the juice of a fresh squeezed sancayo or nopal with a soda. As I have become wary, perhaps too wary, of food borne diseases, I have not tried it. Uncooked items at street vendors are a frustrating (it would be fun to try them) but ultimately dangerous thing in my calculations.
