GROUNDING TRUTHING: …walking the ground to see for oneself if what has been told is true; near-surface discoveries.
When I first encountered the term “Ground Truthing” in this beautifully written essay about the arctic (among other things), I didn’t realize it would become so pivotal. So much music made since this moment, all in the spirit of near-surface discoveries.
