Just wrapped up a few month residency teaching Danza in North side Houston. Planting seeds with over 100 1st graders, keeping our cultura alive inside the schools. They learned how to drum, sing, dance and have re ally touched my heart in this work that we do. At moody park-inside the rec center-We have open Danza drum practice starting up again tonight, Danza circle tomorrow and we dance at Discovery Green stage on Saturday. We are running a full moon temazcal sweatlodge on Saturday night. All these events are free and open to the public to come and participate with love and respect to yourself and others. I don't post up everything we do as a Calmecac because not everything should be so public.
