Hi everyone!

I have just gone back to school on Tuesday this week! It's hard to wake up early again. Despite this fact, it's a pleasant feeling to take back a normal rhythm of life.

This situation makes me think about holidays and also last year. So I wanted to share with you some pictures where the sunset meets the moon. More poetically, when the reality meets the world of dreams. The words that come to my mind to qualify the feeling at this very moment are nostalgia and melancholia.

So here there are some moon meetings.

The other day I was in my living room when I saw the beautiful view outside, one more time. I was amazed by the progression of the spectacle. First, the lighted day, after the ignited sunset, then the serene twilight and finally the marvelous night which is floating in the air.

Mother nature astonished me again.

Hello everybody!

During my summer holidays, I had the chance to visit Switzerland with my brother and friends. Furthermore, we just bought a VW camping car so we were really impatient to drive it. Despite the problems we had with oil, essence and with the starter, we could do everything we planned. We left Wallis to pass by Neuchâtel, Soleure, Schaffhouse, Lucerne, Oberland and finally come back home.

Hello dear!

Did your day start well?

Today I wanted to show you the evolution of just a one sunset. So I searched in my gallery and, surprisingly, I found many! Then, I had to do a choice. And such a difficult one!

Finally my decision fell on a specific cloudy end of a day. This is because while the clock ticked, the clouds were changing color and atmosphere. I love colors and you are supposed to love clouds, so I thought that would be pleasant for everyone, or the most.

The spectacle happened the last 8th august, and here are the five pictures I took between about 8 o’clock and 9:15pm on that day.

A Glimpse of Nature's Magic

  Hi dear reader!

I’ve already mentioned before that I live in Lausanne (CH).

Here, inhabitants are always delighted of talking about their walks along the lake, the time spent swimming in it, summer barbecues with their friends on the shore, and about many more nice moments thanks to the Leman Lake. They wouldn’t miss an occasion to praise its beauty. Moreover, some French may tell you the same because the border between France and Switzerland lies at its middle.

Short anecdote: there is a little unjustified disagreement about its name. Actually, people from Geneva call it Geneva Lake. Why? Pride maybe. ^_^

A Glimpse of Nature's Magic

Hello!

How is the weather at your place right now?

Where I am, in Lausanne, there’s a storm at the moment I’m writing. Due to this fact, I decided to change my plan to share with you what I saw this night. Before that, I have to apologize for the quality. The pictures have been taken with my iPhone 4S, not the very best tool at night.

Today the media warned population by newspapers, radio and TV that there will be a thunderstorm with a degree of 3/5 on a part of Switzerland, at Tuesday evening and night. There even was the hail by location, but nothing to really worry. At my place, I only could assist to lightning over the Leman Lake. Obviously, the scene was very much more spectacular live but I think it is worth to be shared. So please, can you do an imagination effort to imagine yourself what it was in reality? Just notice that the three last pictures are a sequence of the same flash of lightning.

August has started and team Metwit is finally enjoying some days off. Much needed! :D

A Glimpse of Nature's Magic

Hello!

How are you today?

I don’t know if you are, but personally I am on vacations (sorry!). I remember when  I came back to my flat after a long and tiring university day (actually, they’re not all  so hard, but you see what I mean ;)) I directly collapsed on my sofa, so comfortable! 

When I have the strength of opening at least one of my eyes to look outside and  discover the new view that the sky offers to me, and I see this kind of scenery, my couch  is no longer what it used to be. I am now floating on the cotton clouds, flying over a  a wonderful but so ephemeral world. At every minute the scenery changes but is still so  pleasant to see and feel. But then, the reality punches me in the face as a bird bangs  into a window. The time has come to clean, cook and study. What a f****** reality, but  wait…oh yeah I’m in holidays now. (ha-ha)
