I went eight years not having any déjà vu and as soon as I started my new job Dec 2025 I've been nothing but bamboozled with it frequently. It's the strongest and most slap-in-the-face in all my life.

There's nothing profound about it, it just causes me vertigo.

I'm questioning it a bit because I was showing the new guy how to fabricate something he hasn't had the chance to make yet in the last two weeks of him working with me.

Right down to the very drawing he drew to understand what I was saying to show we were on the same page.

Messaged twice, ignored twice. Only reached out to me when they needed something, completely bypassing my old messages that they left on read.

Transactional people are people that I love teaching how to treat others as humans and not utilities.

Silly person thought I wasn't going to say anything and just continue helping as if the behaviour was acceptable.

I deeply loath transactional dynamics. I naturally engage spiritually, and when others can't meet me there, the engagement feels most unnatural and wrong to me.
