Thinking about this performance again, and how unbelievably amazing it is. She’s pouring her whole heart into it. The way the stage lights make her hair match the gold color of her harp. The way the mic feedback cuts out on that note where the band joins in. The way she rests her head against the harp and looks so peaceful even as her hands are dancing perfectly on the strings. The pan over to the band. The tears in her eyes at the end. It’s so intricate and so honest. Ugh this is absolutely perfect and I love it so much.

I saw of monsters and men play their new album live a few days ago, every song was absolutely beautiful

I first heard my head is an animal in around 2012 and this band has stuck with me through my teenage years into adulthood so seeing them live was an absolute dream. We were one row from the front too!
