I once again had a dream about THE WORLD’S GREATEST JUDOKA. It’s a silly comic idea I had, where a kaiju crisis is combated not by mecha but by enlarging the fictitious International Judo Champ, Kobe Susume to the size of a kaiju. His biggest antagonist is 100 LEG SEER, an eyeball monster completely covered with limbs on which it rolls and walks; Kobe defeats it by performing a sequence of 100 trips culminating in launching it into a deep canyon. From time to time, his good nature shines and he adopts a handful of the kaiju as friends; he teaches them judo, leading to them wearing gi and becoming mascots of sorts.
There’s a filler arc where he’s trying to figure out what to eat as a giant man, and it leads to his mom fixing him a giant crab soup from the remains of his most recent villain. There’s a running joke about a bunch of women who are in love with him because they all have a macro fetish, and he dresses up incognito which somehow fools them despite the fact he’s 100m tall.
Anyway, this recent dream was about him struggling to fight a beast with absolutely no angles, so nothing to grab on, frictionless; Kobe takes off his gi top and wrestles the beast into it, then taps it with a lapel choke. Afterwards, the beast sees itself reflected in a skyscraper’s windows and is overjoyed with its appearance. Later, the beast opens a fashion brand and integrates into human society.
Anyway, there’s Rodan in a gi, it’s part of the pitch I made for my friends.
