Look out there are flower clouds all around you. Do not touch them they do not touch you, all they hope for is that you believe in their existence as much as they see you. That you see their petals, even if they may have been stepped and are bruised. I am not asking you to make those flowers whole again, no you do not need to fix them. Just don't make them disappear because you couldn't give them space to breath to feel sun rays and grow. All because they didn't fit into what you thought clouds and flowers had to be.

That teapot will always let me know that i am in safe space. A place i didn't know. The smell of earl grey and the clashing of porcelain as i watch her body dance with each sway she hands me something its like as if she can read each thought. Its weird it makes me anxious when i think that all that she wants is for me to feel at home. I feel the tips of my ribs throbbing. My shoulders roll up and i hope that my head might eventually swallow itself into my neck. That kitchen table greets me and tells me stories of people and children through stains and cuts. People that are years and miles away now. I find myself here at least two times a year now. I know of a time when all i wanted was warmth but didn't know what it felt like, looked like, sounded like, tasted like, i just thought it meant i would never worry again. When i leave, you fill the teapot to the brim, drink some tea with me, kiss me on the cheek "i hope this keeps you warm for now" -kitchen tales #WHPinthekitchen . . . #tea
