It was endearing how hard Ross was trying to stay up and not fall flat on his face. Camila might tease him if he did fall, but she would mostly worry with him falling from so high up since he was over a foot taller than her. The raven-haired girl couldn’t help but smile as they began to slowly skate around with their hands intertwined. “Don’t jinx yourself,” she teased slightly, wishing she could take it back as he suddenly stumbled. Camila’s free hand grabbed his arm to steady him. “Take it easy, Rossy,” she whispered with a grin. “Slow and steady wins the race,” she added. Once he had steadied himself, she slowly started to go again. He would get better as the night went on, she just knew it.
“I don’t know how to go slow!” He countered back with a grin. “I’m fast and furious, baby.” That was a total lie - Ross was actually very lame - but Camila didn’t need to know that, right? He listened to her though and focused on just skating slowly around the ice. Her hands on him was nice and even if he did improve, he might just keep pretending to suck just so she would keep touching him. “Am I impressing you?” He joked but really, he hoped he was. He wanted a second date with her even if she was completely out of his league.
