Iâm not updating the graphic but happy pride đ
Thissss is the good shit though
And yâall know itâs my favourite thing to see!!!!!
Donât forget itâs her season
Intelligent Life reading livestreaming (or in person if youâre in LA!) tomorrow at 4pm PST! Look at this cast!! And a great scrip! Plus the last event of the tinlightenment celebrations which deserves to be celebrated!!
Get your tickets here https://www.squadup.com/events/intelligent-life-a-tin-can-bros-pilot-reading
And seriously you do not want to miss this stream, itâs available for BOTH tiers so for just $5 you can yap with her for an hour+ about Guy and I cannot overstate how much sheâs talked about this stream and how much sheâs looking forward to it
can we spread the word of buying big bear and not supporting anyone who shares it? please! it's so important to support them and especially patrick's hard work! i've seen people say they plan to share it once buying it and that's crazy to me.
Yes like come on weâve been over this enough with starkid shows! By buying the digital ticket you are supporting the artists involved in making it and they deserve that!! I know it sucks not to be able to afford to see it but we have to be supporting independent creators, they canât always give things away for free!
I need to be back in the El Portal watching TGWDLM:R
me too
Big Bear
In case you havenât heard, Big Bear is a play written and directed by Patrick McDonald that follows a friend group airing their grievances in real time. The show will star Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter, Jon Matteson, and Angela Giarratana, among others from Starkid and Dropout. Both digital and in-person tickets are available now. Please support this show if you are able!!!
You can buy tickets here!
If youâre not subscribed to TCBâs newsletter (why not - do it) hereâs your reminder of the two live shows they have in September!
10th September (one week from today!) 7:30pm at Dynasty Typewriter - The Great Debate: Dropout vs. Starkid
I went to the website to get the dropout guests and I may be the one breaking the news that Lily Du is replacing Anna Garcia? Plus Oscar Montoya and Rekha Shankar
And from Starkid, Angela Giarratana, Devin Lytle and Joe Walker, with of course Joey Richter as the best host!
In person tickets $25 here (preferred seating sold out! Help them sell out the rest of the tickets so they can keep doing shows here and we can all get good quality livestreams which leads me to my next pointâŠ)
Livestream tickets $15 here which let you watch live and vote in real time along with the audience, and if you canât make it live you still get access to the VOD for 72 hours!
29th September 7:30pm at the Elysian Theatre - Gross Prophets
Featuring Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter and Marty Scanlon in his debut as Bachman!
I wish I was going to this show so please go on my behalf! If you saw it in the last LA run thereâll be a lot of changes including a brand new section with a special guest, so go again!
In person tickets here - $25 general admission (diamond elite VIP $777 if you really want that fast track to success)
No digital ticket for this one but the more people they recruit to The Companyâąïž at this show the more chance of a Corporate Semi-Annual Regional Recruitment Event in a city near you in future!
And you can always rent the Melbourne digital ticket if youâre craving that spiritual enlightenment and/or Angela and Aliâs killer songs
important reminder from Lauren!
LISTEN TO LAUREN Y'ALL!!!
Do you know what I think would be a really great fan project for Joeyâs birthday? For everyone to follow the checklist at the shows this weekend đ
Happy 2 years of Mom and Dad being married đ

While weâre on the topic of TGWDLM:R, hereâs a reminder appropriate/not appropriate ways to show your love for the show if youâre seeing it live:
â Cheering/clapping when the house lights go down: yes absolutely!! Itâs an exciting moment!!
â Cheering/clapping at the end of numbers: 10000% yes!! Perfect time to show appreciation
â Laughing at jokes: of course! Itâs a funny show
â Cheering/clapping at intermission: yes! They just killed the first act. Clap through the whole intermission if you want
â Organic reactions: no problem! But the key is organic (Iâm thinking about the audience reaction in the scene where Bill tries to save Alice as an example - people are in the moment! Theyâre invested!)
â Cheering/clapping at the end of the show: fucking absolutely!!!! Go wild!! Give Lauren the fourth wall break nightmare she deserves!!
đ« Screaming/cheering/clapping over the start of the opening number: no! If youâre still going when Jeff starts singing youâve gone too long
đ« Screaming/cheering/clapping at peopleâs entrances: no! I know you love them. I know you want to let them know. But save it for those appropriate moments. The comedic timing of this show was already great and theyâve finessed it even more, so donât stop the flow. Even for cameos I know people will be excited about! Even for your favourite actor/character!
đ« Any kind of heckling: definitely not!! This is not an interactive show. They donât need you to make jokes or give commentary. Same for exaggerated dramatic reactions
đ« Saying the lines/singing the songs: hard fucking no!!!!! You know them all. Same! But keep it in your head. People arenât paying to hear you, theyâre paying to hear the cast. Save the singing/quoting along at loud for the digital ticket/youtube version at home!
Multiple members of the cast have expressed their wish for good audience etiquette. Theyâve worked so so hard on this show so let them perform it the way they want to without interruption, as well intentioned as it may be! I promise they will still feel the love!
Listen to Sam!!
Being a SK fan and a TCB fan is hard because on the one hand
Itâs incredible that TGWDLM:R has raised almost 5x the budget of the original and that itâs become more funded than even the 10 year anniversary, AND is the highest funded theatre kickstarter ever. And Iâm so glad they get to see how much support there is for it after being worried itâs not something people would be interested in
But on the other hand
TCB deserved so much better for THEIR 10 year anniversary and I canât help thinking how much they could have done with the money raised for this one show when theyâve done more shows than I can count with their $220k budget including so many international shows
Do you like funny people debating stupid things very seriously?
Tin Can Bros are doing The Great Debate live at Dynasty Typewriter this Sunday May 18th with a really fun line up and Joey as an excellent host. If you can make it to LA, please get a ticket! I got to see this show live in March and laughed the whole way through
And if you canât make the show in person there are livestream tickets! You can tune in live and be part of the voting, or the VOD will be available for 72 hours afterwards. Both available here! https://www.squadup.com/events/the-great-debate
The Great Debate is back and bigger than ever â and for the first time, it's streaming LIVE. Six contenders. Four knock-down drag-out rounds
