The first book of Erha was such a fucking trainwreck of emotions.

Saw one of these "cleaning someone's house for free" videos, where the whole house was covered in dirt and shit and literal needles. Obviously the person living there had mental issues.

Then the comments were like: "How could someone live there?" / "How did the house get so dirty?"

And okay, maybe people sometimes don't understand mental health that well, whatever.

And then comments like: "Depression doesn't stop people from cleaning up. They just choose not to throw their trash away..." And blah blah blah.

EXCUSE ME. SINCE WHEN?? As a person with depression, I have had a lot of episodes where I can't stand cleaning, I don't see the point in it, I don't see the point in doing absolutely anything in my life.

Of course depression causes messy, sometimes even horrible housings. It does so much worse than that too, but some people still fucking treat mental illnesses like it's a joke. I know people and live with a person who thinks the same way.

Let's just use our damn brains and realise that yes, some people live in horrible conditions because their mental state just won't let them have the freedom and desire to keep everything clean.
