I have a silly HC where Hudson sometimes catches Taesoo looking at his phone screen and then discreetly at him. When Hudson asks if there's a problem, Taesoo pretends he's just reminiscing about his youth, but the real reason is that Taesoo compares Hudson to a cockatiel, especially his crest.

I think one thing that irritates me about the feminine design of lookism (besides the blatant sexism) is that, for me, the lack of diverse body types invalidates some narratives. How so, you ask? And I answer: it's not just the main and supporting cast that have a attractive body; even the extras who make up the sets have the same body type. For me, this hinders you when you try to create a sensual female character or "the most beautiful" because everyone is so similar ( I sometimes say that lookism is the Korean equivalent of One Piece in this context)

Now this is a topic that's affecting the male characters as well; nobody is escaping the same face and body syndrome. They're all muscular and almost a copy-and-paste of existing characters. I really can't find any new wow characters; I can only look at them and think, "Oh yeah, Jake if he were blonde," "Daniel if he had long hair," or "This one here looks like a mix of Jake and Samuel."

idk I'm not trying to make YET ANOTHER post criticizing the work; in fact, this is a thought I've had in my mind for a while.

I think the most vivid example of inflation I've ever witnessed was when I started 6th grade (middle school) the snacks at the cafeteria cost 2 reais, and when I left school in my 3rd year of high school they cost 7.

Yes, the teenage child inside me rebelled, and there wasn't a single day that I bought a fogaça for 7 reais that I didn't think back when I used to pay 2.

I think Lookism has reached a point where, unless you're a 14-year-old male teenager who only cares about battle shounen and meaningless powerscaling , you simply can't enjoy the work 100% because, honestly, the fights are so lame.

Taesoo acts very much like a father to the Allied, but especially Daniel and, duh, Hudson. Do you think Ansanboy gets jealous or does he know how to share his fatherly role with his friends?

I went to the Lookism subreddit just to see if the men there could muster a little brainpower and critique today's chapter, but meh, they argue that Mitsuki didn't rape Sinu because there wasn't an explicit scene of it.

Oh yeah, because she clearly went to all the trouble of regularly drugging him and manipulating his mind into believing she was Yeonhui just for fun, right? Oh yeah, the bath scene where they're both naked and she's touching his body, that's clearly not harassment, right? Or when she put his hand on her breasts, just platonic, right?

Following that logic, Vivi and her friends didn't rape anyone either; they just drugged people and dragged them to a room while they were naked, saying they were going to play a game with the unconscious people, just for fun, right? PTJ didn't show it, so there was no abuse, right?

The majority of the lookism community is male; they only want to see fights and forced heterosexual couples, ignoring all their problematic aspects, because for them, abusive characters/couples are more attractive and acceptable than their favorite work having healthy LGBT characters/couples or serious themes being portrayed with the seriousness they deserve.

Today I was thinking about using my ideas to write for Genshin and drop Lookism, because I'm dissatisfied with how PTJ has been writing and addressing certain themes/characters. However, as soon as I thought that, I went on Twitter and saw a Lookism meme in my language made by someone unfamiliar with the series. I'll take that as a sign to give it another chance, at least for now.
