i read part of this book several months ago but i don’t remember its title
it’s this book where the author spends a chapter looking up the word for “shit” in a philosophical language only to be too tired to laugh upon finding it

lmao imagine cosplaying as a corpse so instead of saying trick or treat you just lie there on their porch
hark! the Harold angels sing
yoooooo iii 18 just dropped
there may come a time within the next fifty years or so when you’re in middle or high school and the band director pulls up with some “excerpts from the amazing digital circus”
oh and you’re on xylophone
my dad just called a garage door a “gate” and that got me thinking
if you have a kinda big house in the philippines, they usually come with big gates, seemingly for the same purpose a garage door
it’d be cool if a genie let you preview all the little details and contingencies of your wish before you actually made it
ever thought of swooning the messenger?
a calculus-themed short film or horror film or short horror film or musical called “should not exist”
it would be funny if there was some kids show about math where the plot is mostly that the main character uses basic arithmetic to solve problems then it cuts to a prominent side character casually doing university-level math to solve the problem comically quickly and convolutedly
then it’s revealed three or four seasons later that that character is a grad student trapped in that world somehow because they became really stressed out with their thesis and all the plot of the previous seasons was a gradual buildup proving their impostor syndrome is not real and upon solving the biggest problem from their thesis in an epic seasonal climax they disappear in a flash of light presumably being able to finish their thesis afterwards and move on with life
how about a documentary about calculus called “PLUS C”
just went to a haunted outhouse
i was scared shitless
what a glorious spooky day we got today!
one day i wanna watch a series of oddly specific how·to videos
me when i’m a polyhobbyist
ok so like here’s an interesting thing to do one day
yknow those videos or articles or whatnot that are like “why should you learn [insert language here]?” and there are a list of reasons and justifications for those reasons?
collect a lot of all those those across a lot of languages to get a big average of why people learn languages
how much does it differ from language to language? what languages are people more likely to say “for fun” or “for the culture” for example? &c.
is there a canadian canon of songs that people learn in french class and store at the back of their head until they’re suddenly remembered again?
