#hey. so what did i miss

Sorry for being MIA past two weeks….I hope you don’t mind me ranting a bit…this is one of the very few places I know is safe…I understand if you don’t read tbh I just need to get this out….I’m being vague but someone still might get an idea of where this is but idc atp I think a lot of roses coloured glasses are coming off…especially with some young lives and then the protestors being treated differently(protesting for said lives)…by current and past leaders of my home…this current leader if that’s what you wanna call it….is so bad…I’m so ashamed of saying we come from same part of the country…to the point I’ve told people I’m not local…rather then saying I’m from X , worst is my family siding with his side….when literally had this happened literally 2 to 3 years ago…I could’ve been one of the very people who passed ? I mean if you are selfish…fine but I’d hope you don’t want your child to suffer…I made it out but I’m still very much suffering from this. Unfortunately especially me and people from my part of country can’t even speak up…my friends and all pretend that were actually with the leadership, one of my friends who is a reporter was forced to report against it…and very hesitant to talk about it and didn’t until I hinted I don’t agree with leadership and we both practically spilled how we were scared other one would call you a t*rr*r*st…all for wanting basic human rights? Is it too much to ask not to let youth die over very preventable events ?- 😭

i'm genuinely so sorry that you have to live through this. i can't imagine how hard it must be to not be able to say what you think out loud. i really hope things will become safer for everyone and hope that you and your loved ones stay safe.. i'm always here if you need to vent!!
