Got a big story item and ritual today with the blood candle and blood cartography from. These are certainly the least universal entries in the menagerie! Instead these two entries are most likely best used as a reward or tool for players handed out from GMs for specific storylines or game settings! The blood candle is a little item that could create some great "gotcha" moments in intrigue and mystery games. For example having the party trying to find a royal bastard in disguide during a court ball while the ritual can be a great tool for morally dubious players or a sort of reward for a devil's bargain struck with a witch or hag as you hunt down a certain creature or target. Finally and perhaps my favorite use is putting the ritual in the hands of the antagonist and the players have to figure out why members of a certain family goes missing or are found murdered. I hope you get some use out of these in your games cuz they are quite rambly and specific
