Castiel flew by
"Hello, Castiel"
âIâm never gonna be a soldier, Sel. Even if I tried, I couldnât be one.â He shrugged half-heartedly. âEspecially not when itâs against my siblings.â He smiled again. âOh, definitely. My games get better and better.â
"I can not really say I am all for fighting, either." She admitted; unsure whether Gabriel would've remembered how she felt about fighting. Her brow perked up in both interest and amusement a moment later, however, and she chuckled "Oh? I want to see."
He shook his head. âI wouldnât have survived back home. Iâm not a soldier, Sel, I wouldnât be able to manage up there.â He smiled at her, a little bit sadly. âItâs good to see you too.â
Selaphiel couldn't argue with that - he'd never been a fighter. She wasn't much of one, either...she was capable - more than capable - but she chose not to, in the end. She offered him a half smile "You're braver than most of us, that makes you something of a decent soldier." Selaphiel mused, before tilting her head in thought "No doubt your tricks and games are still as good?"
â - âHe is in a better place, do not worry. I may have helped him along myself up there. You are welcomed to check up on him up there.â A soft chuckle, âI am sorry for hiding for so long Selaphiel, my child. I took a long leave and have finally decided to show myself, to keep the visage Chuck and I held together in the past.â
"I trust that you escorted him safely, father." Selaphiel can only smile at that - she needn't check if he'd made it there if her father had said he had. Selaphiel glanced up, finally daring meet the eyes of her father for the first time...in forever? Had she actually ever done that? She couldn't remember "Do the others know that you're here?"
Just so you guys know.
I ain't making her up.

âGabriel~ Always hiding. You think I couldnât find you? Need I remind you who always won hide and seek when we were fledgelings? Though, thinking you couldâŠâ
âYou didnât win all the time, Selaphiel. I hide when it suits my purposes, especially when I need to survive. Hey there.â
"No, just most of it." Selaphiel thought back fondly to Heaven, to before all this happened. She'd not wanted, nor really dared going back after hearing what Castiel had done to their homeland. "What do you mean? You'd have survived with us all....though then again, I can't blame you for leaving." She'd wanted to - but she was never fond of the idea of leaving home - still wasn't.
"It's good to see you, nonetheless."

who do you ship Selaphiel with?
Um. Well.
Whoever she ends up with, I guess.
But if I had to choose, Gabriel and Lucifer.

â - And here I thought it was too quiet. Welcome.
ââŠIt canât beâ- father?â Sheâd wanted this for the longest time. Being one of the seven Archangelâs, she was keen on being loyal to her father - hadnât stopped believing heâd return, even in his extended absence.Sheâd only come to Earth a few centuries before - and sheâd had no luck thus far in finding him - what had changed?
â - There was a sad smile upon the manâs face as he took a step forward. âI have only decided to show myself because of a sad tale, my child.â His hands hovered over his own being for a few seconds. âChuck Shurley, this one was named, has passed away. He and I were close but an incident occurred not too long ago leaving me no choice but to let him go on.â Itâd been a sad event indeed.
"Did he go..?" She motioned heaven-ward, brows knitting together into a small, sad frown. She remembered Chuck's prayers - though they were infrequent. Her head was bowed out of respect when he stepped closer, Selaphiel wasn't sure she should look him in the eye - mostly because...well - he's God. Would it be disrespectful? "Father, did he pass through the gates safely? I did not see him when I led them to judgement." It was part of her job - taking them to be judged.
"I ah..It's not him, though. You. I never expected..."

â - And here I thought it was too quiet. Welcome.
"...It can't be--- father?" She'd wanted this for the longest time. Being one of the seven Archangel's, she was keen on being loyal to her father - hadn't stopped believing he'd return, even in his extended absence. She'd only come to Earth a few centuries before - and she'd had no luck thus far in finding him - what had changed?
âYou are very kind, thank you.â returning that smile with one of her own, Selaphiel nodded her head - sheâd decided to take Chuck up on his offer. Selaphiel herself had a calming presence, or so sheâd been told. She was one of the elder angels thoughâŠso perhaps thatâs why. One of Heavenâs most terrifying weapons could be calming. That shouldnât be possible.
âI will accept your offer, if thatâs alright. ThoughâŠsomething tells me that thereâs more to you than meets the eye, Chuck.â
For a few long seconds, Chuck remained silent, he had appeared to have fallen into thought, but he shook his head after, looking back at Selaphiel. He smiled.
âItâs quite alright actually, Iâve got quite the space at my place, which is actually right behind us. It could fit a few people or angels if I had to say what kind of space it was.â The place was painted all white on the outside, almost like it held a godlike appearance. Prophet or not, he really knew how to handle his own living situations finally.
âPerhaps there is?â His smile turned into a grin, holding a bit of mischief to it.
Selaphiel can but nod as she glanced up to the house. Given it's appearance, she was sure she'd feel right at home - because this is how she remembered Heaven. The Arch Angel thought for a moment on his words, however, and decided it best to stay away from the subject of angels lest she be found out completely - he seemed clueless as to who he was.
"Yes, perhaps there is." She knew just what it was - prophets' names were seared into her memory. She hummed a moment, starting towards the house "It looks very homely."

Well. This was odd. Selaphiel hadn't felt this angel's grace in a few centuries. She'd heard of what he'd done though, and that was probably why she'd taken so long to actually pipe up - though he's already been completely forgiven.
"Brother, It's good to see you."
updated the profile/about thingy at last.

âHello there, how may I help you this fine day?â
âIâŠah. Hello. Iâm Elysia.â Lying to your father? Smooth move. He can probably sense your grace a million miles off. âIâm looking for somewhere toâŠsettle for the night. Do you know any good places?â
âHello Elysiaâ You can call me Chuck.â Perhaps he would have continued to lie himself but it didnât seem to be working out so well. He ended up smiling a bit more fondly than normal, yet there was a little sneak peak of mischief in the manâs eyes. âMaybe my place? I mean that as a token of welcome, not to sound like a creep or anything. Itâs a new place Iâve gotten and itâs got everything working correctly so far.â
âChuck.â She repeated with a small nod and an almost-there smile. Selaphiel wasnât sure what it was, butâŠwasnât he? Yes. Yes he was. Chuck Shurley. Prophet. Thee was something more about it, though. This one wasspecial.Selaphiel couldnât quite put her finger on why, though.
âYour place? Iâ I wouldnât wish to intrude, but that would be very much appreciated.â
âNo no, itâs okay. Iâd like to be of service if I could?â Chuck smiled his bright smile, something was always calming about it even when he did it for himself. He liked to smile for everyone else more so.
"You are very kind, thank you." returning that smile with one of her own, Selaphiel nodded her head - she'd decided to take Chuck up on his offer. "What was the score when last we played...?"
"I remember Michael disturbing us."
Yeah, yeah, I know.
And I missed you too.
I am not hugging first.
Nor am I.
So we are to have a staring contest?
