Thoughts on odyssey duo??

I feel like Wifies was definitely more jealous about Parrot's friendships with others than he let on or that I've seen others talk about. He wanted him all to himself, a friend only he could be friends with, especially during the end and near the director arc when he worked to turn BAT against him in as many ways as he could (hunting him and having that hunt destroy BAT property and items all the way to forcing them to be Paragon's guards).
Inventory tracking was also CRAZY like dude get a life
I feel like before Unstable that Wifies didn't have a lot of friends. He got attached really quickly and devoted the rest of his life to Parrot. Even in their first episode when they were solving Spoke's puzzles and supposedly only knew each other because the other was also smart, he trapped himself in a chunk ban for who knows how long for the hint that Parrot might learn something that might not even be that consequential at all. That's not something I would do for someone I met less than a day before, that's barely something I would do for my closest friends.
I also adore how silly they are together. Their banter is so wholesome and they work either as a single super genius hivemind or as two fourths of the same half of a braincell and I am HERE FOR IT
I also love to see how Parrot really centered Wifies in his life after his death. My personal headcanon after watching up to,,,, uhh what am I on now...... Getting started on 'I Exposed a Corrupt Minecraft Civilization' next! But, from what I've seen so far I headcanon that he selectively forgot about his entire time before spawning back in Spawn.
Not only on multiple occasions did he reference escaping Paragon and getting back to Spawn as him 'spawning into the server' but he doesn't ever reference much before that besides the Mafia and that one time he supposedly told Theo about what happened before.
I think his feelings about Wifies, as a friend or as an enemy, were so conflicted that he chose not to think about it at all. An example of this is when he went back to pick up the Spyglass he threw away in front of Wifies. Sure, it might have been acting cold in front of the person who kidnapped him, but I also feel that some of that was genuine frustration and betrayal, and the same for picking it up. It was sentimentality, if for the person Wifies used to be or him now, why not both?
I think Theo knows of all of this too. He may be dyslexic, he may be dyscalculic, but he's not stupid. He can see Parrot and his reactions, he most likely knows his story. That's why I think he's s fiercely overprotective over him, why he crashes out when someone threatens him or does something that may dredge up his old memories in an unpleasant way.
Why he came back to Sky when they were in the Great Sea, he wasn't even going to be someone who left their friend on their own.
Parrot got blown up from a trap in the ground when running back to Northern with Wemmbu. Theo destroyed The_Oroboros because of it.
Even as small as someone telling Parrot he 'sucks', he gets really mad because not only does he know that his other bird is amazing and trying his best, but he knows that even something never said to you can bring back bad memories.
Why he was so untrusting of anyone who got close to Parrot, just in case they did the same thing Wifies did.
Back on the Wifies train, I don't think he fully comprehended what he was doing, either. He only knew he loved his best friend and wanted to protect him, so he went to whatever lengths he needed to to do that. It's a sad reality but it's the truth for some people.
All in all, I love Odyssey Duo and their symbolism even if I couldn't pick up on most of it (I probably didn't haha).
