I think this speaks for itself.
One does not need buildings, money, power, or status to practice the Art of Peace. Heaven is right where you are standing, and that is the place to train.
Morihei Ueshiba
You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection. - Buddha Siddhartha
If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.
Mother Teresa
The universe is filled with divine silence...that is the sound of love.
We desire for ourself that which appears attractive and develop attachment, we feel aversion for that which appears unattractive and develop anger, and we feel indifferent toward that which appears neutral and develop ignorance. From these three delusions all other delusions arise.
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?
Abraham Lincoln
Seek balance.
Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.
Abraham Lincoln
The World is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.
Thomas Paine
Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.
Thomas Jefferson
Know when to act and when to let go.
Hypocrites
Do not discount the criticism of hypocrites. Whether they have a right to voice those criticisms or not, they can still be used to move your attitude and your life in a positive direction. Don't slip into denial because you don't want to face criticism, use it to make yourself a better person, regardless of where the criticism came from. Advice from a wise man is the same as criticism from a hypocrite; it can be a boon to you on your journey to happiness. Don't let it hurt your feelings or make you agree. Be calm and learn from the situation. Namaste, friends <3
