JACKIE: Not yet, I gave the drawing to my friend. But I’m checking on Mr. Clarington every day. So far they both still seem okay.

KURT: They're being held against their will by dragons, they arent "okay"

KURT: Do we know anything about where my dad is yet?

It had been exactly three weeks since Kurt arrived at the Evans home, and nearly two weeks since his dad had gone missing. He’d been lethargic for much of the weekend, only managing to get off the couch at all because he didn’t want the Evans family to know he was doing that badly, and because even depression wasn’t a good reason to skip his beauty routine. But that lifelessness had given way to anxiety. Kurt needed to do something. He’d been stuck in the house for weeks and, even though that was a decision he consciously made and one he didn’t regret, it was so hard to feel so alone. He had Sam, thankfully, but there was a Burt Hummel size hole in his life now and nobody was doing enough. His dad had been taken two weeks ago, and Kurt was throwing away expired food in the Evans family kitchen because he was helpless to save his dad. Useless. Naive. Selfish.

Hunter: Well I don't go around lying.

Hunter: I haven't had much experience with shapeshifters if I'm being honest, but the ones I have had haven't been the greatest, no.

Hunter: Well, we're in agreement there.

Kurt: That doesn't surprise me. Your family isn't exactly popular among shifters, to put it lightly.

Kurt: Good. So, for now, we can put aside our personal differences and politics and just save our families. I care more about my dad than Night World.

KURT: The free food will be happy to see you

KURT: You should totally come. As much as I love Sam, I need to see other people besides his family.

KURT: You know you are welcome over any time. Including dinner time.

KURT: Yes but what makes you think I do?

KURT: I haven't left Sam's house in three weeks, why do you keep asking me if I have money and food?

Hunter: Honestly? Both. I am actually sorry but I probably wouldn't actually be apologizing if Jackie didn't want me to.

Hunter: Don't worry about it, neither of us were really a good definition of civil.

Kurt: I appreciate the honesty.

Kurt: No, we weren't. But I'm lacking in pleasant experiences with lamias. And I doubt it's much of a stretch to say the same is true for you and shapeshifters

KURT: We have to get used to each other, though. Nobody else is going to save our dads.

KURT: You aren't hopping down the aisle. I have human friends who will notice if a bunny suddenly turns into a person. Plus my groomsmen will not be wearing animal skins.
