Before interacting, remember that Hungry is part-Litwick! When her fire is on she is draining energy from others. Without very prolonged exposure there are no long-term consequences, but it can cause temporary exhaustion and listlessness. She tries to avoid draining Pokémon much stronger than herself without permission unless already desperate. If you don’t want to interact because of this, I completely understand! But I also won’t mind if you want to just ignore it for a short interaction or have your character threaten/frighten Hungry into stopping. (You can try asking, too.)
Also, you can use whatever pronouns you want for Hungry! She doesn’t really care.
