He nodded, staring at the ground. "It’s been a while. How have you been?" he said, deciding to forget about it. No use dwelling on what was already done. He offered a slightly softer expression.

Other than being out on beyond-the-wall missions on a daily basis, nothing had really changed for her-- besides not seeing the Corporal the whole time, of course. "I've been good, I suppose.. A little tired, perhaps. But, I'm sure that now that I'm back, I'll get better sleep. How about yourself, sir?"
