DREAM WIFE - Hey Heartbreaker

pern1c1ous “You’re personable. Warm. It comes as no surprise.” He pours a cup and sets it in front of him with a ceramic dish of cream, a few sugar cubes. He can smell him even from here, his long ears twitching in thought.“…Uhm. Some weather we’re having.” Wonderful conversation, Innovator. “…I’m sorry. Let me try again. What will you do, now that you’re alive?”

He smiles in thanks for the coffee, moving forward to start mixing it how he liked it, plenty of sugar, a little cream. After it was done being mixed up, he took a small sip to test temperature, taste. 

“Heh... Yes, some weather.” Hugo chuckles and leans back in the chair he was sat in, holding the now warm cup in his hands. “I dunno, really. Thought of reconnectin’ with.. ‘Course you. And others. Uh. At the moment I am just in the decision process and hopin’ I find somethin’ to my tastes. Maybe movin’ into a popular area and wreckin’ havoc.”

Innovator gazes at Hugo quietly, waiting for the coffee to begin dribbling into the pot. He can’t tolerate it, but it seems a fan favorite.

“…You’re making friends. That’s good.”

There Hugo was over sitting at a table and messing with the rings on his fingers. He watches as Innovator made coffee and it was so nice to see him again, but it was hard to not be nervous.

“Well, it’s a natural instinct ta have people around and want people around wit’ ya. Humans are social creatures, after all.”
