It’s New York City and no one is surprised that war is brewing for control of the streets. The Lightwood and Blackthorn families have been fighting for control for generations. Bloodshed between the two is nothing new. It is a bitter rivalry that has everyone in the city splitting down the middle. The Blackthorn family is lead by Klaus Mikaelson, the half brother of the late Andrew Blackthorn. The Lightwood family is lead by Robert Lightwood. Things are about to get so much more dangerous. Though it has been kept tightly under wraps – Robert Lightwood’s health is failing, and with two sons possible to take the reigns, not to mention various cousins, it could become an all out civil war – something the Blackthorns would be more than happy to see since it gives them the perfect opportunity to take the reigns – so –
