“Um, I’m sorry…I don’t…” Allison didn’t know anything about the town or how she got here. Her internal panic was obvious in her body language. Her shallow breathing, her hands grasping her drink tightly to the point where the glass could shatter. It was either that or let her hands shake uncontrollably, but she was better than that. She had to be better. A million thoughts raced through her mind as she poured over how any of this was possible. She was dead, but she wasn’t now? It’s not something Allison wanted to blurt out loud, but something was going on. “You could ask the bartender. They should know?” Allison offered, snapping out of her thoughts.
The female in front of him was clearly going through something, everything about her body languege screamed that she was definitely not okay. Ben approached to her carefully, putting aside the subject he first came to her with. He wondered if she also was effected by this strange place and appeared in this town without recalling how, but it seemed like there was something stronger holding her. “Hey, are you alright?” The answer was quite obvious, but it was only human of him to ask.
Alice looked over to her shoulder as she finished her beer. “–Weird is an understatement.” She mused before she nodded. “Yeah, I do. I’m actually heading there in a few minutes if you want to follow once I’m done here.” She wanted to finish her fries before doing anything. Being a helpful citizen was tiring after all and she couldn’t do it on an empty stomach.
“Sure, no pressure.” He nodded. He was somehow relieved to find someone that seemed to know around a bit, since everyone else he spotted so far seemed just as confused as he was and he didn’t know if he should comfort in that or get more concerned. “If everything is weird in this town, could you at least tell me that the fries here are weirdly good? I feel like that would even it out a bit.” He jested as he felt the need to lighten up the way he felt ever since he got there.
THE BAR WAS SOMEWHAT of a safe haven for Dean, a place in which he could easily be found. Perched on a stool at the bar, scotch in hand, the male then heard a voice filling the air, the question seemingly directed at him. Brows raised for a moment, turning to peer toward the male. Although it had been over ten years since he’d last seen the boy, Dean would have recognised him a mile off. A slight pang of guilt leapt up from the very depths of his chest. Ben Braeden. The closest thing the male had ever had to a son. At one point, he had longed for the male to be his son. That was until the life his family had been destined to lead took all of that away. In order to keep Lisa, the love of his life, and her son Ben safe, he had Castiel wipe their memories. “There uh-” His voice cracked, raw emotion showing for a brief moment. It was rare that Dean showed his true emotions, yet seeing Ben again seemed to have that effect on the man. Coughing roughly, he slammed a fist to his chest, composing himself. “There’s one just at the edge of town, I’m staying there. I’d offer you a ride but..” He gestured to the glass of scotch in front of him. “Don’t drink and drive, kid.” Dean murmured.
Ben could have sworn that for a moment there something about the man in front of him washed him with a familiar feeling in his chest. He didn’t know what it was, as he clearly doesn’t know him, but the way the male’s voice cracked when he began to spoke made Ben question if perhaps the feeling he felt for a mere second meant something. He shook it off though, thinking he must be crazy to be lingering on that when there are bigger questions that bug him at the moment. “Well, since I have no intention of staying sober myself at this moment, I guess I’ll find my way to there later.” He shrugged, ordering himself a bottle of beer, downing the cool liquid the moment the bartender rests it on the counter before him. “New to town as well?” It was a strange question to ask since he himself had no memory of how he got there, but he figured he might just not be the only one.
She was sitting at the bar, absentmindedly daydreaming and considering her concerns in more depth than before. She was concerned, and honestly, it was something she was beginning to feel rather paranoid about. Something about the town did not sit right with her, however, she did also consider she could be overthinking it. No one else appeared to hold her concerns, and she was doing her best to not think about it. Hearing the sound of a voice, Josie weakly smiled at him, shrugging her shoulders a little. “There’s a few, but the best one is by the Grill.” She nodded, taking another sip of her drink.
Ben furrowed his eyebrows. “There’s a few? That’s strange. I couldn’t spot more than a few people walking in the main street, and you’re telling me this town holds more than a single motel?” Everything striked him as odd at this point, but he felt like he would lose his senses if he were to really start thinking about it. And as bizarre as this situation was, right now he just needed a drink. “Hey, get me a beer please.” He spoke to the bartender, then turning his gaze back at the female. “You lived here long?” He questioned.
emma was taking some time to herself. and of course, she’d pick up some food for gabriel on the way home. she was picking at a basket of curly fries while doodling on a napkin. she liked the grill. it was friendly enough, even with a bar where she usually sat by herself. she didn’t like taking up a whole table just to doodle on napkins. she looked up when someone asked her something. emma blinked, thinking he looked a familiar somehow. “oh uhm, i think there might be? i mean it’s a pretty empty town. still figuring the whole thing out,” she chuckled slightly.
“It is pretty empty... This should sound weird, but can you even tell me what’s the name of this town?” He was part geniunally asking, part testing her to see if she got here the same way he did. At this point Ben could use all the information he could get, and as she was the first person he spoke to in this bizarre situation, he figured he should see if any others were in the same boat as his.
it was safe to say that ben was rather thrown off guard. it almost felt like a vivid dream with how he couldn’t remember how he even got to this strange town. he knew it had something mystical to do with it but he’s not one to lose his cool so quickly. but... where does he start? ben looked around the street, the look of it was rather normal so far. his eyes caught a local bar across the street, and so his regular and slightly alcoholic instincts lead him there. he sighed, his eyes wandering around the place in a hesitant way as he sat by the bar counter. “hey, you don’t seem to know if there’s a motel in this weird-ass town huh?” he asked a person that sat near-by.
JACOB ELORDI? BEN BRAEDEN, the 23 year old HUMAN, who’s been known to be +BRAVE & +CHARMING but also -CYNICAL & -HOT HEADED. They’re now a prisoner in this accursed town, but how will everyone react when they find out about HE BEGAN TO HUNT SUPERNATURALS? ( MAY, SHE/HER/20/GMT+2)
hey there lovelies :3 here’s a small intro for ben with a bit of info of how i took his character forward from when he and dean parted ways...
ben was about 11 years old when dean walked out of his life for the final time and erased all of his memories of him for both ben and his mother lisa.
sadly, the supernatural did not leave his life from that moment... yes’ they had a few quiet years and ben grew up a bit, but somehow many supernatural beings found their way to ben throughout the years, he never knew why him, but it’s because some of them wanted vengeance on dean and found out that he used to have a connection with lisa and ben in the past.
after a few very dangerous encounters, and after acknowledging that the supernatural is more real than ever, he did everything in his power to learn how to defend himself and his mother.
he always kept in his bag a bunch of weapons and took it with him wherever wherever he went, so that he could be ready for any occasion.
years went by, and ben was in college. it’s been years since the last encounter he had with a supernatural being, and in a way he began letting go of that part of his life, that constant fear, and somewhat lived a completely normal life. he even somewhat looked at the past encounters as if they were partly in his child imagination. that was until one night where it all came back stronger than ever.
ben took out his girlfriend one night and suddenly a demon attacked them. the demon kept mentioning dean winchester, but ben kept saying that he has no clue who that person is, begging for the demon to let them live. the demon killed his girlfriend that night, and ben was never the same after this.
he blamed himself for letting his guard down after all these years and he never forgive himself for that night.
he decided to not only defend himself and wait for these monsters to come at him, no, he decided that he will come to them. each and every one of them.
when he finished college he gathered all the reliable information he could find of the supernatural and slowly became a hunter.
he’s still far from mastering at it, doesn’t have many kills and he still doesn’t know a lot, but he has zero fear in his bones and that’s what walks him forward. it took him a while to realize that not all supernatural creatures are pure evil, but he generally won’t trust any of them fully...
personality wise he has a lot of traits that reminds of dean, he has a bit of ego, he’s super sarcastic, has a very charming and witty nature, quite the player. he could be a bit closed off, it takes a while for him to fully trust and open up and he always keeps his guard up.
wanted plots-
friend ( wow this boy desperately needs friends, gimmie all types of friendships )
enemies ( totally up to u how this would go, he is a hunter and tends to collect enemies quite often... )
exes/flames/fwb ( all kinds really )
good influence ( idk someone who would sort of help his to take off his guarded side for a while and see things in a more hopeful and positive way ? )
a supernatural friend ( could be fun to see a dynamic of him with a supernatural he actually trusts )
