Ollie took a slow step forward. There was no way. No way. "Peia." He took several stumbling steps then stopped, mere feet from her. "Is it you?" His voice cracked on the words. It felt like a lame, stupid question but he had to ask because..

Not being too fond of public transport, Cassiopeia had gotten to Sioux Falls on foot. She preferred to travel that way when she was on her own, as it gave a better chance to enjoy the nature of the places she was passing through. As she was walking by the side of the road, she spotted an appealing field and with aching legs, made her way over to it. She hadn’t been sitting there for too long, maybe half an hour or so, enjoying her spliff when she noticed someone coming her way.
Oliver was walking all over th city, especially the scenic bits, the parts without city and technology. He still missed the old days without all that shit. He missed... Well, he missed his family from that time. His sister. He took a slow puff of his spliff as he walked, taking it in. He had lost... Well. He’d lost everything. Maybe it was better. Nothing can’t be taken away. But just as the thought hit him, he saw a shape of a girl and wandered forward, eyebrows furrowing together. He knew better. It wasn’t- couldn’t be- but he kept walking, hopeful anyways. And then.. It was. “Peia?” He stopped, hand holding the spliff falling limply to his side.
