.. Thinking about Tech being the only person who can genuinely get under Icarus’s skin enough to make him lose that cool mysterious-guy composure. Tech is so shy and awkward that he barely reacts to anything, and it drives Icarus insane because no matter what he does, he can never fully get a read on him.

But Icarus notices everything. The way Tech’s face subtly changes color whenever he talks to him, how he suddenly starts tripping over his own words, how he avoids eye contact with him way more than with anyone else. And Icarus kind of enjoys tormenting him a little. He likes seeing those cracks in Tech’s composure. But eventually even he gets impatient.

So in this drawing I made, they get into a small argument after all that built-up tension, and Icarus finally snaps a little. He pushes Tech to just admit he hates him already, expecting some kind of emotional reaction out of him, and Tech, in the most autistic way imaginable, just goes:

“That would be factually incorrect.” xD

I love Two-Boots so much he's so funny and adorable

BUT he's also a super interesting character, especially in the current political climate. It really feels like they wanted to remind some people that yes, Star Wars IS political.

He's labelled as just doing what he was programmed to do. Yk, "just doing his job". This is how ICE agents, cops, the nazis, SO many people are labelled. But it's also made clear that he has a choice whether he follows that programming. He says he's supposed to report Maul to the Empire, but Lawson doesn't want him to so he doesn't.

Definitely a reminder that all those people "just doing their jobs" still have a choice.

Also he accomplished getting these 3 to agree on something. Look how they're looking at him.

This frame right here is the funniest thing in the entire show

Because it perfectly encapsulates just how fucking done Maul is with this entire situation.

This is supposed to be his rise to power, his revenge rampage, his glory, his new apprentice.

Instead he got about three days of wrecking havoc before having a righteous cop and an inquisitor on his ass, a bratty teenager who is too much like Anakin for her own good and her jock boyfriend to babysit, a bad knee, and a group of mandos one wrong command away from being completely done with his bullshit.

This is the look of a man who knows he won't catch a fucking break for the rest of his life, and he does not have time to deal with any of it.
