The Technology Gap and You
This is a short story titled “No One Gave Me The Manual!” And that’s one of the biggest growing pains of smart, professional, college educated people who feel they cannot keep up with technology. Personally, I spend an average of 9 hours dealing with technology and most of it is searching and investigating what is being developed which within weeks may disappear or become a multi million dollar product online. Remember Angrybirds?
According to trends, technology is accelerating at a pace that a large portion of the population (Mainly USA) will completely miss. In fact, if you are over 50, you probably don’t know about tools like hootsuite, jamento, and the hundreds of alternatives to youtube. If you are in business with a website and a Facebook page, you know that this is what everybody says “you gotta get on social media” and in part you hate it, and in part you feel like you have no choice. On the other hand, there are millions of people literally getting paid to post pictures of themselves while seating on a beach chair.
Who will help those masses of people who are losing ground each day as our world becomes digital and automated? Are you still doing newsletters and and sending out mailers?
What if you gained understanding and mastery about basic tools and techniques to get your business moving smoothly? Is it possible? And what if you could get double or quadruple the amount of things you are doing with automation and reporting? The truth is you could post, grow, connect, send notes, survey, sell, save, and get reports of everything. You could get technology to do about 80% of the work for you and you simply focus on the human/creative side of things.
That’s the gap, my friend and I want you to close it through training, participation and curiosity. I’m glad you found us, unlike millions of others who will not have the same opportunity and will complain and cry to death technology ears. Let’s get you up to snuff here and let’s do it now.
