   as sports is very much based on the same sex teams ,  such as all boys teams and all girl teams  .   my oc was unable to join the mens volleyball team and with the female one ,  the girls were uncomfortable with him  joining their team .  leaving him unable to play volleyball throughout the years and only learn about it when watching/reading it up and tossing the ball to himself .   it is also difficult how his parents do not understand his situation of being transgender  -  believing its a phase / related to a bad relationship in the past ?  so being able to go onto the court and make friends who understands him ,   is like a dream .
