Thanks, Mom.
Timesheet filling is tedious and boring? Well, JWT Brazil found a way to make it more...well, rewarding.
Free beer and soda fridge that opens only when the timesheet is 100% completed by everyone.
Now that's an idea!
Controversial Marketing Campaign of the Day: In a campaign blatantly directed at male fans, the Amsterdam arm of Stüssy has created a Facebook page whose model strips off her clothes as the page receives more and more Likes. Talk about incentive.
“As you can imagine, the model must be suffocating under that many layers of clothing,” said Colin Lamberton, creative director for Arnold Amsterdam, the agency behind the ad. “It is almost a public duty to free her out of this misery, so we are expecting Facebook fans to help out here. Like and undress.”
What’s Facebook’s position? The company’s guidelines read, “You must not use Facebook features or functionality, such as the Like button, as a voting mechanism for a promotion.”
The Dutch page’s fan-following stands at just more than 360 — though undoubtedly not for long.

Marketing Campaign of the Day: A bicyclist in a sleepy Belgian town couldn’t resist when a giant red button caught his attention — it was just asking to be pushed. The dramatic fallout became TNT’s new ad spot in the country.

Early Bird Special: When Nike gave Internet video maker Casey Neistat a hefty advance payment and orders to #makeitcount, it’s unlikely this is what the company had in mind. Nicely done.

Lights Out: Samsung promotes its first 2 SIM card smartphone Galaxy Y Duos by applying the mind-expanding video mapping technique previously reserved for buildings and cars to the face and thorax of a human subject.

Animated Short of the Day: Wes Ball, a graphic artist best known for his work with HBO and his award-winning student short A Work in Progress, has spent the last two years working with his company, OddBall Animation, on a “passion project” called Ruin, described as “an animated short set in a post-apocalyptic universe.”
Words can’t do this stunning feat of CGI justice, which is probably why the entire short is completely dialog free. Do yourself a favor and set the next 8 minutes aside to watch something truly remarkable.

Homemade Nature Film of the Day: Mark Rober holds up a mirror to the orangutan enclosure at the zoo and records the resulting reactions with an iPhone strapped to the back.
Make sure to stick around till the end where he tries something similar on humans.

Skateboard with can of spray paint attached & cop’s worst nightmare all in one. British street artist D*Face (a.k.a. Dean Stockton), the vandal behind this colorful contraption of mayhem, has two passions in life, and now one way to enjoy them both.

Language Of Love of the Day: Multi-lingual strangers on the streets of London are asked to say “I love you” in their native tongue.

Super Bowl Ad of the Day: While Ford and GM duke it out on the sidelines, Chrysler looks poised to take home the championship ring yet again with its inspirational “Halftime in America” ad spot starring American institution Clint Eastwood.
The New York Times notes that the ad’s placement — halftime — will keep it off traditional post-game ad polls. I just hope it won’t be too embarrassing for the other ad agencies when they’re beat by a write-in candidate.
