𝓢he wasn’t sure what it was, exactly.. but something ignited Selene to sit back and lose herself in her own thoughts. The girl had everything; fame, money, great company, a successful career she absolutely loved.. And yet, each and every sober moment made her well aware of the way sadness managed to infiltrate every aspect of her life. Nothing was good enough and it seemed it never would be. As she raised her glass of poison to her lips, she scanned the yacht party before her. It took her a moment or two to realise someone nearby had been staring, before she felt her lips curl instantaneously upwards in an attempt to disguise her momentary lapse. “Some party, huh?”
Kenzie’s chocolate eyes scanned the yacht dock as he brought an amber-filled glass to his lips. There was an all too familiar burning need that he had yet to learn to control expanding at his core with each and every passing second. He could easily have found some bimbo with just enough brain cells to know to crave his attention and take her to some hidden alcove and fix his need in a quickie, but where was the fun in that? And he knew he still had some time before his need grew into desperation and one of those girls would work if he came to that point, but not sooner. As he scanned, his eyes locked with another set of browns and a wicked grin carved itself on his face, “Some party, indeed,” he agreed as he took a few steps closer to the one and only Selene Buchanan. “Enjoying it?” he asked, bringing his drink to his lips once more, “If not, just have a few more of those and then you will be,” he added, nodding to her glass.
