“that’s true, the only reason wwhy this is house looks so good it’s because of your decorations.” tyler laughed fondly and nodded. “great, let’s watch it.” he smiled laying down and opening his arms for her to cuddled up to him.

arabella giggled and bit her lip. “thank you I try making this house look nice, ty.” she grinned and then put the movie in. she jumped onto the bed again and got into his arms, snuggling up beside him as the movie played.

tyler smiled wide at her little kiss and put on his sweatpants. “you get all excited around christmas, it’s like seeing a baby in it’s first christmas. your eyes lit up and you’re always glowing. it’s so fucking adorable.” he rambled in a cooing tone but then stopped himself embarrassed, they were friends and he was praising her like that.”can you find it?” he aske, talking about the dvd.

arabella listened to him and laughed softly. she kept smiling from the way he was talking to her. “I love the presents I love decorating, I love everything about christmas!” she cheered and then found the dvd. “yes, it’s right here!” she jumped back on his bed and showed him.

“it’s true i’ve seen you many times without make up and you still look good.” tyler smiled at her and nodded. “i love christmas too but i only get in the mood around september.” he laughed. “i noticed, you smell nice for a change.” he teased as he went to change from his jeans to his sweatpants. “i’d love that, i can’t say no to that.”

arabella looked up at him and smiled from what he was saying. “awe, thanks ty.” she leaned over and pressed a small kiss onto his cheeks before he got up to change. she swallowed and smiled small. “christmas is great!” she cheered then gasped. “I always smell nice what do you mean” she scoffed playfully before grinning. “then love actually it is.” she grinned and got up to go look for the dvd.

“you look beautiful with or without it.” tyler shrugged honestly and raised an eyebrow. “a christmas movie? come on we’re like 5 months away from december…wait unless it’s love actually.” he smirked since it was one of his favourite movies.

“oh stop it.” bella laughed and blushed slightly as he complimented her. she nudged him before swallowing. “hey! you know I love christmas and I’m in a cozy mood. I had a bath before you got home.” she smiled wide. “we can watch love actually if you want.”

“as usual.” tyler nodded and finished eating his cupcake.”mm nah you’re very yucky and salty. it’s because of all the make up things you put on your face.” he teased her and stretched and took off his shirt since he was hot.”what are we watching poopie?” he smiled taking another cupcake.

“mhm..” arabella teased him and giggled before shaking her head. “hey now! i need all of this makeup to be able to look this great.” she teased and then laid on her back, glancing at him when he took off his shirt. she bit her lip and then sat up. “a christmas movie?!” bella giggled since she was obsessed with all things christmas. even though it was the middle of july.

“You’d le tme be your little sloth anyways so shush.” Tyler chuckled and watched her expression when he licked her. “I’m not drunk shut up, just wanted to see if it was tasty.” he chuckled rolling off of her and eating his cupcake.

“you’re totally right.” arabella giggled, turning her body to him while finishing her cupcake when he got off of her. “and was it?” she asked with a slight grin as she watched him. she laughed and then sat up, pushing her hair back to eat the rest of her cupcake.

“Yes I am and I’ve got no shame about it. I’m breaking up with my girlfriend tomorrow, let me clinge.” Tyler laughed and instead of taking a bite of the cupcake, he just smeared the icing on her cheek, a bit closer to her mouth, and licked it smirking.

“I’ll let you cling onto me only because you are breaking up with your girlfriend tomorrow.” bella laughed and then once he smeared icing on her cheek, she gasped and looked at him. her heart beat started racing when he leaned down closer to her and licked it off. “that beer really got to you.” she teased.

“I warned you.” Tyler smirked and headed to his room, taking off his shoes first. “I always have great ideas now gimme a cupcake.” he hummed happily. He looked at her on the bed and teasingly laid on top of her. “Ooops?” he smirked.

“i know you did but it was still a surprise.” arabella giggled and then reached for a cupcake as she laid back on the bed. she grinned and turned to look up at him when he was on her. “ty.. you’re so clingy.” she teased and leaned up to kiss his cheek before putting the cupcake in between them for him.

“that’s right.” tyler nodded with small smile, at least he had her as a friend. “I’m going to bite you.” he chuckled leaning forward and playfully nibbling on her arm before watching her go. “you’re so smart sometimes.” he teased. “bring those over then and let’s watch a rom-com in my room, i want to cuddle.”

arabella laughed and then gasped as he bit her. she smirked and shook her head. “tyler!” she pulled back and walked into their kitchen. she smiled at him and stuck her tongue out at him before grabbing the cupcakes. “mm, I love the sound of that.. you know I can’t say no to cuddles..” she grinned and then grabbed the cupcakes and went towards his room. “come on then slow poke!” she teased him and jumped onto his bed.

“We’re best friends.” Tyler nodded repeating what she said but it was more for himself. He smiled when she offered to cheer him up but then raised an eyebrow. “If you offer me coffee I’ll bite you.” he chuckled poking her belly before sitting up. “Do you have cupcakes or would we have to make them?” he smiled.

“you bet we are. and we are always gonna be.” arabella said and then took a deep breath when knowing she did want to spend the rest of her life knowing tyler but she wants more with him. “bite me.” she smirked and shook her head before getting off from the couch. she turned to him. “I bought cupcakes earlier. so it’ll save us a long time.” she teased and giggled.

Tyler opened his eyes to look at her and smiled sweetly, studying her face when he suggested their little pact. “That’s true, everyone thinks we’re a couple already. We just don’t kiss and do the nasty fun stuff, other than that we’re pretty close. We moved all the way to America together, live together, we cuddle, we often sleep on each other’s bed, we’re just that close. I like it.” He hummed even though he wasn’t honest, he didn’t like it. He wanteto be more.

arabella nodded as she listened to him and smiled small. “hey yeah, people do think that we are like a couple already. but we’re just best friends.” she mumbled and then chuckled lightly. “I like it too..” she whispered, looking down at him with a smile. “what can I do to cheer you up? coffee?” she teased him and giggled before looking at the tv. “um, cupcakes?” she grinned.

Tyler hummed quietly when she started playing with his hair because he absolutely loved it when she did it. “Yeah maybe, that’s what I mean. If it happens then good, I’ll stop trying to get myself a girlfriend.” he shook his head and smiled softly. “Maybe we should make a pact, if we’re not dating anyone by the age of 30 then we marry each other.” he chuckled softly wanting to see her reaction.

arabellla watched as she continued playing with his hair. “you’ll get one, I’m sure of it cutie.” she tried making him feel better and chuckled before nodding to what he was saying. she raised an eyebrow and then smiled, shaking her head. she chuckled. “I like that idea. because we get each other and we know a lot about each other.. it’ll be like now but different because then we get to do the real couples things..” she murmured quietly.

“I guess you’re right.I should’ve seen this coming.” Tyler shrugged finishing his beer and setting it on the coffee table. He moved to lay down on her lap and kept looking at her, smiling small at how beautiful she was. He wanted this but was scared of losing her friendship. “I just might stop looking, it’s clearly not working out because I can’t find someone good enough, maybe I have my stakes really high.” he mumbled closing his eyes for a second.

arabella shrugged and bit her lip. she watched as he laid down on her lap and she let her hand run through his hair. “it’ll be okay.. believe me.” she smiled down at him and then looked away from him when he said he was going to stop looking. “tyler... maybe she’ll just come to you. or you’ll bump into her one day.” she shrugged and then swallowed when looking down at him again.

Tyler wrapped his arm around Bella when she scooted closer to him and rested his head on her shoulder. “Yeah that’s true but I don’t know how far it could even go. The thing is, I don’t feel that sad for wanting to leave her, you know? It’s just…I’m not upset and I think it’s mutual. We barely text, we don’t show pda often, we’re not that close,..” he listed and smiled at the kiss. “Hopefully.” he mumbled thinking about wanting her.

arabella played with his hair and smiled small. “hey, things tend to fade.. feelings tend to face. and it’s better knowing it’s mutual then you don’t have to worry about hurting anyone. you both decided that it’ll be good for the both of you.” she told him and hugged him tightly. “with your charms and looks I’m sure you’ll get someone.” she told him, biting her lip since it was something a best friend should tell him but deep down she wanted to tell him to stop searching. that the girl he could have was right in front of him. but anxiety gets to her and she can’t do it.

“I’m just fun, admit it.” Tyler joked softly, poking her arm. “No, no. I don’t think that will solve it. We’re okay in that area, I just…I can’t explain it. It just doesn’t feels right. There’s no proper connection, you know?” He tried to explain it and just took another sip. “Maybe me and her aren’t meant to last.”

“no, I will not admit it then you win.” bella giggled and then listened to him. she got closer to him and sighed. “well at least you know this now..before it got too far you know? does she feel the same?” she asked and then bit her lip before kissing his cheek. “they’ll be other girls.” she assured him.

“I’m not going to get drunk, I just want to relax a bit.” Tyler shrugged opening the beer and walking to the couch while he took a sip. “Not what went wrong, it’s just…I don’t even know what we’re doing anymore B. I think the honeymoon phase died out.” he mumbled.

“well good, it’s a pain living with you when you get drunk.” bella teased him then took a deep breath. she watched him and shrugged. “you think so? maybe try doing something else.. do you want the flat to you and her? I can stay somewhere else maybe?” she suggested trying to be there for her best friend.

Tyler headed back home from the date feeling worse than what he did when he left home. He walked inside the flat looking upset but a small smile cracked on his face when he heard Bella who quickly noticed his mood. “Were you spying me or something?” he tried to make the mood for himself lighter as he went to get a beer.

arabella giggled and licked her lips. she shook her head, watching him get a beer. “now is that really necessary?” she motioned to the beer and then paused the show before turning to him. “I’m not spying on you, I’m just wondering what went wrong this time with her.” she shrugged.
