very very dependent on your relationship. one night stand? if he’s in ultra “gentleman” mode, which he sometimes uses for the sake of getting laid and consequently feels guilt for afterwards, he’ll get you water and let you sleep in one of his shirts if need be. he usually only partakes in modern-day hook-ups if he’s like …. miserable. so there’s a chance that he’s going to be in a sour mood and just want the person to leave (which he may not say directly, but be a tad passive aggressive/leave it open-ended. “you can stay if you want.”), or he’ll leave if it’s their place, afterwards.

i have mixed thoughts on this. on one hand, i’ve never imagined him particularly hairy, but …. those eyebrows……. people with no body hair do not usually have eyebrows like that… he definitely does trim when he has a partner though. pirate arthur was a bush king i suppose but modern day arthur would probably rather die than risk his partner getting a pube or something in their mouth. that would be his last straw i’m afraid

ludwig isn’t exactly the most patient person in the world, but he is a fairly dedicated student. he has a good handful of languages under his belt, and has definitely done all the different tricks in the books about learning languages.
if you’re a mortal who only knows one language or a few languages, he’d be quite flattered that you want to speak his mother tongue. depending on your first language, german way be more easy or more difficult. either way, he doesn’t discredit your attempts to learn at all!! he’d be happy to practice with you, and encourage you in basic conversations at first. warning, if his annoying brother hears about this, he may attempt to meddle and trick you for his own amusement. stick to ludwig until you’re good enough to see through gilbert’s schemes. retirement has made the albino incredibly bored.
other than conversational, practical learning, ludwig will also show you basic children cartoons in german. he assures you that it’s not meant to make you feel childish, that’s just the basics. plus, you get more familiar with the accents. he’ll sometimes text you in german as well when he’s at work, just small talk to help you get used to different expressions used in day to day conversations.
once he knows your style of learning, he’ll either give you advice if you’re both similar or research on his own how he can better help you learn. he’s a busy guy so it’s definitely a side gig at best for him, but he wants to help you keep on track of your goals. ludwig is very routinely, and will be able to help best if you try to adhere to one yourself. not only does it show him that you’re serious, but then he’ll know your schedule too, which will allow him to keep tabs on your progress!
