“I don’t think you understand what I’m trying to say here. I’m not playing around anymore.” A hard gaze was sent in the other’s direction, pure anger in his eyes. One of his eyebrows was pushed farther up than the other, as if challenging the person in front of him to say anything more to upset him. He figured with his image of mystery and horror, he could use it to his advantage.

Han Jaesoo is surprisingly a huge fan of ice cream, but he’d hardly even mention it to anyone. Come on, he’s a producer, a DJ, and one who is feared by his fans for his silent mysteriousness, so why would he like ice cream? Nevertheless, his wonderful day of ice cream and happiness soon ended. It was Jaesoo’s fault, of course, he’s such a klutz, but he was still angry about it. It’s not like he had seen the guy come and had purposefully smushed the ice cream into his shirt. Horror, that’s what was written on his face.

“Holy shit,” were his first words. “Look, man, sorry about that. Damn, that’s a bad stain.”

The crowd had dispersed to the bar and tables around the club somewhat after Jaesoo had finished his show of the night. People congratulated him, told him how good of a DJ he was as he walked off the stage into the crowd, some still dancing to the selection of songs that had been chosen hours before. He was uninterested. 

His mind was all over the place, trying to get to the only area of the club that he knew would calm him down: the bar. But, there was another thing that caught his attention all of a sudden. His head snapped to a corner of the room, across the way from the stage he was previously on. Three or four women, with one man, had cornered a small girl in front of them. Jaesoo was no vigilante, but he didn’t feel like seeing someone get beat up after one of his bigger shows, so he approached the group, clearing his throat and speaking with firmness. 

“Hey, wanna leave her alone?” was all he had to say to scare the strangers away. They recognized him immediately, with his black mask and black clothing ensemble. He approached the girl, no expression on his face, though she couldn’t see that. “You okay? Did you know them?” HADES would never admit to actually being worried. No way.

Sadly, just because Jaesoo is a big-wig music producer, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s always super organized. Which was exactly why Han Jaesoo, also known as HADES, was walking through the noodle aisle in a small grocery store not far from his apartment in the middle of the night. But, also unfortunately for him, it seemed as if the only thing he came there for only had one bowl left and some stranger had taken it. Oh no, not on his watch!

“Hey, you!” He called out to said person. “I really need that bowl you’re holding there. Can I give you something in return for it?” It was a stupid attempt, but Jaesoo didn’t know what else to say.

Jaesoo sighed, running his hands through his dyed silver hair, looking at the computer screen that showed electronically produced music notes, on an application that helped produce them. He turned his head to the man beside him, disappointment and annoyance written all over his face. He spoke quickly, tiredly, “Do you think that sounds okay, though? I mean, I’ve been working on it for days and I still don’t like it.”

It’s not everyday that someone is lucky enough to get the silent, strong type Han Jaesoo to laugh, but this girl, whom he’s a stranger to, has gotten the man to chuckle rather loudly. He wasn’t making fun of her, no, no, but just the way she was going about whatever she was doing was amusing in a, well, cute way. Putting a hand over his mouth, he watched her, curiously.

“Do you need help, miss?” He asked, at last, still smiling to himself.

Despite his tough, horrifying image, the man behind the black mask worn only when he’s performing is quite awkward. So, when Jaesoo sees some man he’s really never met before staring at him, or so he thinks, sweat starts to appear on his neck. Gathering courage, he turns to the man, his deep voice cutting through the previously rather silent atmosphere.

“Do you want something, hm? Staring is considered rude.”
