Finnick’s eyes scanned over the male in front of him, sizing him up for a few seconds to see if he was a threat. “Its quite alright. I should have been looking where I was going.” He shrugged with the all so known smirk of his.
Hyacinth just gave a shrug and shifted somewhat uncomfortably under the older male's gaze. "Okay. Should've been watching for someone, anyways." He should really start paying attention to something like that, shouldn't he? A shaky smile came to his lips as he shuffled out of the Victor's way.

Finnick stepped out of the water of the clear beach of Four, running a hand through his wet hair. He was walking along the beach when he spotted someone in front of him. “What can I do for you?”
Blue eyes blinked out at an equally blue sea in wonder. He'd never seen such a large expanse of water before in his life. Those eyes flicked up as someone familiar looking approached. Right, Finnick Odair. He was a victor. "Uh. Just walking. Sorry."
”It’s all right. Everyone stares at me now. If you sit, it might look a little less awkward.”
"Still. Shouldn't have, it was rude. Sorry." The boy shrugged and did as he was told, sitting down with Katniss.
“You can go ahead and sit down, if you want. There’s no need to gawk. I don’t bite.”
[ The accuracy of that statement still remained to be seen. ]
"Oh. Uh. Okay. Sorry, I didn't mean to stare." He stumbles over the words and offers a sheepish sort of smile as compensation.
That made Annie smile, if only the tiniest bit. It meant that she wasn’t the only one District 13 didn’t want to use, and while that wasn’t very good of her to be happy about such a thing, it meant she had someone to spend time with. “Me neither apparently,” she said, cheering up quite a bit and no longer fixating on the blood. “We’ll have to occupy ourselves then, won’t we?”
Her smile is a bit contagious and causes him to give a tiny smile in response. It was nice, hearing that he wasn't the only one who wasn't much use around the District. Hyacinth hated feeling like a burden to them. Approaching the door to the medical bay he nodded. "We will, I guess. You, uh...want me to come with you?" The boy motioned to the shut doors with a nod.
[mrah bed considering school and stuff]
”I suppose you’re right,” she finally relented. It had been a long time since she had dealt with scrapes, bruises and sprains. Her younger siblings had often gotten hurt through their play, but that was a long time ago, another lifetime it seemed. “How’d it happen anyways?”
"'Course I am." It's an attempt at lightness that falls sort of flat but hey, at least he'd tried, right? That was something. Improvement, almost. Even if it had come across forced and feeble. "Uh. Wasn't paying attention to where I was going. Lost in my head, y'know? Tripped and fell and caught my ankle bad."
“They gave you free time?” she asked curiously. She thought she was the only one with free time. District 13 had assigned her “room time” for the entire duration of her stay, probably thinking she was too fragile for much else.
"I'm not really good for much." Was his response, paired with a shrug. He'd been deemed too unstable for pretty much every job in 13. Considering the many things that made his hands shake and his mind go back to the Games, Hyacinth wasn't much of a help anywhere. Instead he just stayed in his room and occasionally wandered about.

"See? That wasn’t so hard," she teased, letting a small smile form on her lips. She hadn’t expected him to give in so easily, especially after being so stubborn about the medic. Then she darted off, returning moments later with ice. "I can get something to wrap it with too."
Just ice and some rest. If Annie tried to push any further Hyacinth would again resist. He didn't deserve even that much, really. The boy watched her go and gave a small smile upon her return. "No, just the ice is okay. Really." He insisted with a shake of the head.
