if youre reaaalllyyy cool and also have enough lead in your daily intake of water you can see robert louis stevensons ghost and he'll tell you how uttersons gift to jekyll being the cane does represent jekylls/hydes relationship with utterson not just through it being a gift between friends but also represents the development of their relationship in the novella through how its used in its scenes. so like robert louis stevenson his ghost right he'll go up to your ear and say "in the book hyde/jekyll cares about the cane (utterson) and thats represented by him bringing it on his walks n stuff (as seen by The Murder) but also it shows that he disregards the damage he brings the cane (utterson) by involving it in a crime scene and breaking it (manipulating utterson to get them to help protect hyde, involving him in his crimes, ruining their relationship). god i need to go to bed or like feed myself some sloppy gross porridge via a pipette. i fucking hate honey in porridge dont bring that shit in my house fuck you if you eat honey porridge fuck you specifica hwh where was i again/. ?? aaahhhhh" and then he'll stop talking and the ghost will fade

Context:

Athenaios is being framed for murder and while on the hunt for evidence to prove his innocence, comes across a glimpse of what appeared to be an escaped chimpanzee--to which they later learn may be the culprit of another murder.

At the mercy of the whims of his eccentric private investigator, the young Frankenstein tags along to seek the expertise of the local primate expert, reknown zoologist John Clayton and his lovely wife, Jane.

Bruh Ernest Frankenstein’s life SUCKED his mother dies when he’s young, his little brother was brutally murdered (after he got lost playing with Ernest so he definitely got survivor’s guilt from that), the maid that was like family was executed for the death of his brother, his sister/cousin gets murdered on her wedding night, his father dies of a broken heart and to top it all off his older brother, the only family he has left, leaves without explanation.

AND HE WAS JUST A TEENAGER THROUGH ALL OF THIS!

Not to mention that Victor was so suspicious and clearly knew more than he let on that I wouldn’t blame Ernest for thinking he’s mad and might have killed William and Elizabeth.

We need to stop giving Victor grandchildren and shit in all these movies and adaptations and spinoffs etc etc no children for him that man is a VIRGIN major virgin unless well yknow but virgin so why can't he just be like..... The weird uncle of the family... Ernest survived... Elizabeth wanted him to become a farmer... So why can't he become a farmer... Then many years later some farm kid asks their grandpapy Ernest about the weird uncle Victor Frankenstein and Ernest is like "Yeah no he killed himself lol basically"and the kid is like. Oh. Then the kid goes off to the ancestral family home and finds the creature (immortal for some reason) squatting there and they both scream really loud when they see each other then they #bond and become friends or something
