Linden hastily hides his doodles into his pocket, and shook his head, “N-no- I mean…!! I-it’s fine!! It’s nothing of importance!!” Trying to change the topic of the conversation, he turned around, smiling at the flower beside him,“Speaking of which, how has your day been, Yami?”
Linden is trying very, very hard to avoid the topic of his scribbles. No, they look absolutely awful and should never see the light of day. Maybe if he could excuse himself to read, Yami wouldn’t bring it up again...?
“I’m glad to hear that!” he smiled, “Ah yes, the weather is absolutely brilliant today, not too much sun and a bit of breeze - perfect for reading! Now if you excuse me, I’m just going to head over there to secure a nice spot-” he turns swiftly away and aims for the direction opposite to Yami, when one of his post-it notes flew out of his pocket. He hurriedly scrambles to catch it, but it landed on the ground before he could, face up, with his doodle clearly visible.

Likes reading, books, quiet places and rain
He likes rain so much you’d find him running around in the forest when there’s rain - with umbrella or not
Got something you don’t understand? Linden will teach you patiently. Teaching & knowledge is his passion!
Is probably the type who’d occasionally slip a quote from a book into the conversation (and make everything awkward?? lmaoo)
Has a post-it pad + stationery in his jacket pocket for easy note taking (and reviewing of the quotes that he liked from books)
He likes doodling too but he has terrible drawing skill lol
Places to catch him: underneath the shade of a tree, or rocks by the river (water sounds are soothing in the bg when reading). You can lure him out with pretty accessories or sparkly things, but may not always work.
Physically weak but if you make him mad (which is REALLY hard) prepare to face the wrath of his extended vocabulary of insults & witty phrases (delivered with a smile, of course)
Despite his gentle & approachable manner, it’s pretty hard to get close to him on a personal level - he’s been through things that make him less likely to trust people. His gentle smile is a bittersweet one.
Has an alternative personality that’s hidden (Hydrangeas change color according to the pH of the soil), and will probably stay hidden unless something major happens to bring it out again
