As a villain enjoyer it lowkey pisses me off when ppl see an evil character and start ascribing all these random evil traits to them. LOL. Like yes they are evil but no they would not do all that. Get it right. Understand the specific ways in which their evil works. Pay attention to the subtleties of their moral compass, how they justify things, what is important to them. And STOP giving them RANDOM TRAITS!!!!!!!!!!
So I have a couple similar villains that fit this pretty well. They're fairly similar, but have their own unique morals. In Jojo's part 1, the main Villain is Dio.
His first real act in the story is burning a dog to death. And he doesn't get much better. He causes destruction because he can, and to further his own goals. When he gains supernatural powers, he only gets worse. Treating humans like they're beneath him, and splicing them with animals because he can. He makes them kill their own family members cause it amuses him. But although he's willing to abandon them, he still will acknowledge his subordinates, like wang chen saving his life, and has respect for Jonathan, his true enemy.
Then in part 2, we have Kars. Hes from an entirely different species. He doesn't care about people any more than dirt. He's set of becoming the perfect being and ruling the world. He will abandon his allies without care as long as they are useful to him, he doesn't care about Joseph beyond getting past him to his goal. But the main difference is that, Kars respects nature. He randomly murders some dudes he was just gonna ignore, to save a dog's life.
They have similar powers, similar goals, even similar levels of disdain for everything around them. Yet they have totally different lists of people and things they actually respect. And thats neat.

Alright, where do I begin with her. Ethylene is a character from Black Horda by Cloverloy, a webcomic i enjoy. Thats always a good place to start.
She's just the best. No.1 Blorbo of all time right there. Her design is really good, I enjoy that she wears like 4 shirts and a cloak at all times. I like her thigh belt watch holder. I love the black tendrils constantly poking out of her back.
She is also just like, herself. She kills people, and is very upfront about it. She doesn't like to talk, and when she does its monotone. She's a couple hundred years old. We are introduced to her killing people and then using their corpses like puppets. When the MC Seth complains she tried to kill him, her friends are all like "No it must have been a misunderstanding!" And she just goes "He has every reason to hate me. I really did try and kill him. I may have acted precipitiously... My apologies"
Besides her personality she is one of the single most important characters. She's part of the reason the story exists. She has entire guilds that want her dead, and have failed. The only thing I dislike about this is that we've barely seen her because the author started a rewrite just after she was introduced, and I have so many questions.
I'm not sure when she became my favorite, but she IS and I love her so much. I have so many fic ideas involving her, that I'm not writing.
