          TAEYANG WAS MANY THINGS, and though inhumane ranked high on that list, he was also respectful ( of course, that depended on who you asked ). he never crossed the line when it came to hyelin, and though he was rough he never held her too tight - and yet it was hard to let go completely, because she BELONGED to him in a way no one else did. his hands roamed her body, finding the zipper on the back of her dress, unzipping it gracefully as his h u n g r y lips crashed against hers. «hard enough for you yet?» he mumbled as he pressed himself close against her.

SEX WAS PART of her. it was her freedom, it was the way she conquered things -- through her body, she was made a queen. was it a waste that she had granted full control of herself to him ? would she regret it later ? it was complete surrender as she sighed against his lips, as her hands slid down in between them. “ i know it can get a little bit harder. ” she glanced up at him, wearing nothing but a smile as she took him in her hands, pleasant to find him already waiting for her. she sought for his lips as her hand started to move, kissing him. craving him.

          HE WAS KNOWN for getting bored easily, but there was something different with hyelin. she felt less DISPOSABLE than the other women he found himself with quite often, and it was what had him come back for m o r e every single time. he knew it was SELFISH of him and that she had no idea what she was getting herself into, but he had never been one to stop something he had started. he waited until they were SAFE in his penthouse, but once the door slammed shut behind him he already had her pinned against the wall. «better than whatever the OFFICE had to offer, i’m sure,» he muttered as he peppered kisses down her neck hungrily — always hungry, loving like s t a r v a t i o n.

THEY WERE NEVER gentle. they were fast paced in different sides and always managed to collide, and when they did, it was the most beautiful form of destruction. it came in the form of her nails trailing bloodied paths down his back, his teeth blooming spots on her neck -- it was claiming something that wasn’t theirs, but it was, it was. her breath came out shaky, a soft sight dying on her lips as she gazed at his through half-shut eyelids, hands pulling his shirt out. “ i don’t know. you will have to work hard to make up for their offer. ” it was a lie -- hyelin belonged to him, and taeyang was well aware of that.

OF ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, he didn’t expect hyelin — the girl of his childhood dreams — to be RUSHING past him, barely clothed. his first instinct is to stare ( his wandering eyes will easily be the death of him ), but he manages to gaze towards the ground until she looks back at him, not wanting to appear disrespectful in front of someone he’s eager to IMPRESS. still, kihyun can’t CONTAIN the amused smile broadening on his lips, meeting her eyes with mirth plainly written across his facial features.  ❛  cool pajamas.  ❜  he quips, stuffing his hands in his jacket pockets with a grin.  ❛  my mom would fuckin’ beat me if she knew i was looking at you in — uh, that.  ❜

ONCE UPON A TIME she had imagined her life beside him -- she held hands with him, and she had kissed him once and it was captured in a picture her mother kept in a tin box. there was a time her heart fluttered at the thought of him, the her autumns, winters, springs were all filled with dulls feelings, ready to be forgotten when summer blazing sun broke the sky and her smile warmed her heart, as well. hyelin was not one to blush, was not one to feel wearing too little in any situation, but she crossed her arms in front of her chest, cheek  warming up. “ well, thankfully she is not here, right ? ” she was self-conscious of her situation, and also of the feeling he always spreads through her entire system. “ she would beat me up to be in front of you like this, too. ‘marriage first. ’ ”

Woosung quietly shut the front door of his friend’s place. Last night had been a wild night for him and he was up way too early for someone that had only gotten a minimum of two hours of sleep. Whenever Woosung and his friend got together they almost never slept and stayed up all night having a good time. Stepping into the hallway he noticed someone standing in the hallway at the top of the stairs. He gave the person a quick once-over and was not disappointed with what he saw. Woosung tried to act as naturally as possible when they turned around, as if he wasn’t guilty of checking the girl out. “of course i’ve seen a girl pursuing a chase in her pajamas. i see it happening all the time.” He replied sarcastically. 

SHE CRAVED ATTENTION on top of everything -- so, when she notices eyes resting on her figure, she can’t help but flaunt them, tossing hair behind, a soft smile on her face. “ well, that’s disappointing. ” she could be as sarcastic, but she was trying to keep the good mood that was already flunking. “ here i was thinking i was starting a  new trend. ” she twisted a loose lock of her hair, glancing down the stairs again before sighing. “ anyway, good to know. next time i walk out naked. ”

SHE WAS GETTING back from the bakery that morning, fresh bread neatly tucked down in her paper bag, a tray of coffee in her hands. she seldom went out to get breakfast in the mornings, but with akamaru, her and kihyun’s dog, trips out had become more frequent. surprisingly enough, it also did WONDERS for her mood. she wasn’t really staring because of the other’s choice of clothes ( she had seen more bizarre outfits ), but more so because the girl was blocking her path. ❛ might be my FIRST time actually, ❜ she admitted with a smile. ❛ you ROCK it though. ❜

SHE SMILED SOFTLY at the girl -- or maybe her neighbor ? those things made hyelin quite self-conscious on how little she knows of those who live around her. but her attention was quickly snatched by the dog, having her crouch despite her outside, despite anyone who could be looking at her. “ you are such a pretty babe, aren’t you ? i love dogs. ” she barely glanced at the other before looking back at the dog. “ also, thank you. you look pretty cute yourself, too. ”

YOUNG BOY WITH hopes and dreams, not necessarily what sejun had in mind for a long-term goal, but he decides that if hyelin wants to play this little ruse with him –– playing on his emotions and certain desires then he’ll indulge her fantasies and go for the CHASE. he’s im sejun for fuck’s sakes; he knows what it’s like to chase after something pretty and WIN it in the end. ( and soon, she’ll understand the same. ) “ i’ve been told that i make a very convincing guy, ” sejun murmurs low in his throat as a smirk begins to play against his lips, figure leaning towards the innocent touch and SNARKY girl. “ just follow me and i’ll show you, sweetheart. ”

IT WAS HER amusement, to be dive into people’s desire, to make them imagine, to almost give -- and then, without previous notice, retract completely and watch them crumble. sejun is a project on the making, he is someone on who she works slowly, taking bits and pieces every time they are together -- and every time they are not. “ convincing, you say. ” she scrunches her nose, innocent smile playing as her words were low enough just for them both to hear, forcing him to come closer to her. “ then, i’ll be the judge of that. ”

          HE KNEW SHE WAS bad news, not so much because of how she was, but more so because of what she DID to him. it was dangerous territory he so lightly treaded on, a trap he fell into over and over ( he was a SUCKER for self-destruction, after all ). but he was in CONTROL and that was the beauty of it, what kept him coming back for more. he knew where he had her, she knew not to get attached ( or so he hoped ) and that was what made him grin mischievously at her words. «maybe not,» he agreed, being the POSSESSIVE man he was. he placed a gentle hand on her back as they headed out of the building, the route clear as a map in his mind — it was a habit, to locate every possible escape route when entering a new place — and as they approached his car he opened the door for her with a smile that promised her NOTHING else but what she wanted.

❝ IT WASN’T A game of cat and mouse. it was something that happened one night -- and continued to happen night after night until their encounters moved to day time, too, and lead them to that. what was that ? she couldn’t begin to answer. one thing was certain -- from a girl who loved attention, receiving that from taeyang was something she never knew she would CRAVE so much. a proud smirk painted her lips as she walked out of the building with him, as she swiftly lid into his car and waited for him to take his place beside her, lowering the passenger side mirror to check her make up.

❝ HYELIN COULDN’T BRING herself the wish to laugh. she too thought about those things a lot, but then, when put like that, it seemed shallow -- nothing that ever bother her before, but in that moment, nagged her wrongly. “ i just hope you value more money than you value dicks. ” she proceeded to listen to the girl in complete silence, mind drifting to her agenda, to her appointments, to someone who she shouldn’t be thinking on. “ i’m hyelin. bae hyelin, from instagram and shit. ” she smiled softly. “ i look familiar because my face is everywhere. ”

❝ SHE RUSHED PAST her door, cursing under her breath at the fact that she did not listen to her bell ringing ( and neither did her roommate -- and this explained why she put some  E X T R A  effort into slamming the door that morning. ) from the top of the stairs she could see the delivery guy leaving, and knew also that all of her efforts of going after him would be a waste. she smiled, trying to simply brush it off, turning to the pair of eyes she could feel scanning her frame in her quite revealing choice of clother. “ haven’t you ever seen a girl pursuing a chase in her pajamas ? ”

❝ HIS WORDS WERE thrown in between them, like something profane. taeyang never promised her anything, yet, she still waited -- in silence, in the dark. every time he kissed her, it surprised her that his mouth didn’t taste of ash, for she knew his insides were BURNED out to no return, and from a barren soil, she could expect nothing to flourish. “ then go. ” the sheets from the hotel pooled around her, and she should’ve realized that they would  a l w a y s  be strangers, after all. “ what are you waiting for ? for me to BEG you to stay ? to come asking you to spend one more hour, one more night with me ? fucking go, tae. ” and her heart breaks every time her lips form the syllables of his name, every time he crosses her mind. she knew how was to LOVE someone who could give you nothing in return -- but loving him was making a graveyard out of her own bones, it was a sacrifice that she wasn’t willing to make -- but did it anyway. she rose to her feet, gathering pieces of their waking cacophony in her way, back turned to him as her hand rested on the door knob. “ you can’t be around me, ” she laughed at her own hopeful thoughts, despair coating her words. “ and  i won’t make a fool out of myself any longer. ”
