It was certainly difficult for Lunar to miss the pair of twin hyenas meandering through the country-side. And they certainly looked to be on the younger side, meaning they truly had no business being without some sort of supervision…
That was… unless these two were orphans and that certainly didn’t sit well with the deity. In the Silvermoon Kingdom, orphans for any reason were placed with loving families almost immediately. Some even met their birth parents, but most others… the mother died in child birth or some other complications.
The reindeer watches the pair from a distance, brown eyes reading a great deal of worry for the pair, but he knew he was a stranger so he wouldn’t approach lest he spook them on accident.
In fact, the two were orphans. The twins had been on their own their entire life, thanks to both parents ditching them as soon as they’d been born. It was rough for them, but somehow they’ve managed to get by.
Sugar and Spice had been wandering through the countryside for what seemed like hours, only stopping when the blonde hyena grumbled. Spice gave her sister a sideways glance before rubbing her head.
“Wot’s a’ matter?? I thought we were gonna keep goin’ until we--”
“I can’t. ‘m too tired.”
Sugar chose to sit down, wrapping her arms around her knees. Spice soon followed suit, sitting directly beside the younger twin. Both seemed utterly exhausted. They hadn’t even realized they were being watched.
