Kira Game's story mode made many absurd cuts and changes when condensing and adhering to the canon story as much as possible with a limited cast of characters. Most of the changes are inevitably pretty bad, but one of my favorite nonsensical changes is that L presumably plays the part of Matsuda's corpse instead of Aiber since Aiber and Wedy were cut.

They didn't have enough story characters to play out the ambulance-stretcher scene but still wanted L to say his iconic Matsuda-bashing line, for whatever reason, so now L's the corpse.

Light and Soichiro attended the Misa distraction party, while Mogi collected Matsuda with the mattress, so the only other available Task Force characters are Aizawa and L.

Maybe Aizawa is actually the corpse? Either way, in this new canon, the Task Force off-screen had to determine if Aizawa or L would be the better choice for the corpse and probably chose L, lol.

I'm actually so sad that the official translation randomly cut these two lines of characterization showing how close Aiber is with L.

Essentially changing "You gave me a better life, so I'd risk my life for you" to "This is fun" is a wild translation choice to me.

I mean I'm assuming it's for brevity reasons, but there's so much empty space in the speech bubble that they totally could have utilized, so I'm simply baffled.
