What Sansa’s chapters in King’s Landing feel like :(

It was on that night that Sansa Stark vanished from the custody of the crown. The confusion and chaos that arose during the Battle made it possible for Sandor Clegane, known to the court as the Hound, to remove the Princess Sansa Stark from King’s Landing

Others noted that Clegane visibly faltered at the sight of the wildfire. Those who had encountered him previously knew of his aversion to flame. He withdrew from the fighting shortly after.

Sandor Clegane presented himself at the chambers of Sansa Stark while the flames and fighting raged. Sansa Stark later left her chambers in his company. He concealed her as best he could, using a white cloak to cover the Princess’ face and auburn hair.

In the weeks following her return, Princess Sansa was questioned privately by her kin and Maester regarding the manner of her escape and journey home. She recounted that Clegane avoided the kingsroad, keeping to the rough terrain of forest paths.

In time, Winterfell was reached. The Chronicle records that Sandor halted outside the walls and approached first without the girl, a cautionary action. He returned later with a scowl and brought her in through the gates.

When asked whether she had been mistreated during the journey, the girl answered with firm clarity that she had not.
