Come to think of it, it really is insane that my entire country is burning alive and literally no one in the rest of the world cares. Thousands of Indians are dying every day from the heat, it's 45+ degrees in multiple areas, the government couldn't give two fucks, we're getting severe warnings and red alerts, and not a soul outside of South Asia is speaking about it because why would you ever care about brown people

I'm gonna be so honest I try to keep up with global news and I have barely seen any reports on this unless I explicitly look it up. As in it's never recommended to me despite it being perfectly in line with what I generally engage with online. The only time I've seen anything about this is when it's an actual person from India posting about it and I can't help but feel it's cuz people tend to be less concerned with black and brown people dying/suffering so there is significantly less gloabk concern than there should be and it's absolutely terrifying. Please spread as much awareness as you can and donate to relief organizations if you can
