strawhats as highschool archetypes 👏👏
Luffy- the kid that chews pencils and eats the erasers (if you let him borrow one it will get chewed and u prob wont get it back) Also the kid who says the school lunch looks nasty but demolishes it anyways, captain and forward/striker on the soccer team, “we had homework?”, unintentional class clown, interrupts the teacher a million times but classmates don’t get mad because it’s funny
Usopp- The one who makes bows and arrows out of pens and rubber bands and those paper darts that get stuck in the ceiling, wants to be the class clown but his jokes never land, possible theater kid- definitely helps make the sets, gay best friend vibe with a lot of girls regardless of his sexuality
Chopper- that one kid in the elementary that everyone worships bc they’re cute OR the freshman that somehow gets pulled into an older group as the ‘underclassman pet’ except they actually like him and he’s as smart/smarter than them
Nami- Class/student council officer, the guys all think she’s a kind of a bitch but pretty enough to get away with it, will make you do your part of the group project, fundraiser queen
Franky- the football/whatever sport jock thats actually goofy and nice. Probably in trade school for welding or woodworking, gets girls because he has that funny rizz
Robin- that smart and artsy girl thats really pretty but quiet and not very popular. The boys all think she’s hot but no one ever asks her out :( has a couple close girl friends and gets along with anyone when shes put into a group project (she ends up doing all the work though)
Brook- theater/choir/band kid (he does all of them), not really nerdy per say but kinda dorky and a goofball. Makes puns in class “did you get it?” Girls treat him like a pet because he’s harmless but he never gets any real dates :(
Sanji- The simp of the friend group thats always pouting about failed talking stages and girls in general, probably plays soccer or is the kicker on the football team. One of the only boys that’s picky enough to pack his lunch.
Zoro- the kid that has always been popular because he was the most athletic guy & beat everyone in gym class since elementary. Puts no effort into talking to people but always has people just assembling around him. All the girls like him but he’s never interested for whatever reason. Probably plays a sport… baseball perhaps?
