Moving!

Man it’s been awhile huh? I’ve decided to start a new so I’m moving to this blog to @randy-rootbeer if you want to catch me there!

Putting blog on hiatus until finals are over!

School is going through the crack down that is the weeks leading up to finals so I really need to concentrate! I’ll see you all in about three-ish weeks!

Chai chuckled a bit and sighed happily as he continued o hug back. “ I’ll be okay, I promise not to slow you down okay? I got plenty of stuff to keep it from . . er- hurting me~ ” The bubbles died down, so he only boiled as he got warmer from it, but frowning now. “ Please tell me that . . you are okay just the way you are, because if you are hot at any moment, please tell me, Randy. I don’t want you hurt. ”

“Alrighty then! Nah I’m not worried about ya slowing me down. I’m more concerned with if…Eh nevermind!”

He replied looking back out to the sea with a slight shake of himself to keep awake. Being warm seemed to make the rootbeer float sleepy “No no, I’m fine! Ten outta ten! ”

“ . . I’m alright. Okay? I’ve only had a heart attack ONCE, it’s okay .. and re you sure you’ll be alright? I mean . . to me, you seem . . sleepy? I don’t know, I am probably wrong. ”

“I believe you! I’m just a worry wart…"He trailed off with a yawn leaning back into Chai with half closed eyes"I’m not sleepy jus-“He broke off into another yawn"Just…warm.”

” Yes you are cute stuff~ Lemme take it over please and go get some rest, you can use even me right now to fall asleep~ I’ve got this, the map is right in front of us anyways, heheh~ “

Chai hummed a tune and got even warmer then before.

Too late, it seems that Randy has already fallen asleep on Chai. He really hadn’t slept the night before so his body had been looking for the right timing to pass the heck out on him.

Chai took over and looked at the map every few minutes, turning more to the left, he snuggled his face into Randy’s hair.

“ This’ll be one heck of an adventure . . ”

Randy only responded with a sleepy hum of agreement before slipping back into sleep, nuzzling Chai back slightly. A sleepy boi

“ Ehehe . .~ So sweet . . ”

He frowned though at a nearby few grey clouds he saw.

“ Not good . . let’s just hope it is only rain. ”

“Hm? Something wrong?“He opened his eyes again and moved to fix his glasses properly on his face again. He may have just put them on upside down but at least they were on.

Chai let go and stared at the clouds, chuckling.

“ We'e got this~ If we even land on an island that’d be even better. The closest one will be perfect. ”

“Lemme just go look then!“ Randy jumped up and ran off to climb onto the top of the ship after grabbing his spyglass on the sea.

“Let`s see….”He adjusted the glass and squinted, swinging his head around in search of a sign of land. “Ah-ha! Make a hard turn starboard and we`ll ride the wind to that group of mini islands!“

Chai sighed, but hearing the order he instantly turned a hard (right??? I ain’t to good at pirate shiz but I think Port is left- correct?), taking it to the small islands and licking his finger, putting it in the air.

“ Hmm . . the wind is very strong though, Randy!! ”

(It`s right!) “In that case I should probably get down! Just maybe !”The rootbeer float scrambled down and back over to his partner at the wheel keeping the clouds in the corner of his eye .

“Probably for the best, those storm clouds don`t look very friendly. Remind me to put both anchors in the water when we go ashore! ”

“ W-Well . . we will be alright! And of course I will remind you! ”

Chai sat down and sighed, taking a few pills into his hands. “ Mm . . have any water? ”

“Here , I`ve got some in my pack!!” Randy scurried over to the bag to hurriedly pull out a water bottle and handed it to the tea cup. “Need anything else??” He`s concerneddddd.

“ Heheh~ Nah. Gracias cutie~ “ He took the pills and sighed. “ Sorry . . a bit of a . . spanish kinda guy- I only know a little, but I mean . . even at an old age, you can learn a lot. “ Chai looked over at him and made a small chuckle, looking away from the storm for just that second to give him a smile that he was okay. “ I can see that concern on your face~ I will be alright. “

“No problem!” He adjusted his glasses with a small nod “ Also you`re not that old really, besides it`s not like we age much after 20. Least in most cases. I think?..” The mug was on the verge of going into another ramble but was distracted from it via Chai “If you`re sure…”

“ O-Oh uhh . . well uhmm . . 31 haha . . is a lot though ”

“Well I know some folks that are 100 and still looking young. Aging is weird.”

“ Woah! Serious? Then damn, . . can’t be good lookin’ for long~ ”

Chai ruffled through his own hair and sighed, yawning a bit.

“ But . . I mean, then I guess I am pretty young. It’s just so hard to find other great cups . . and with us Tea’s and all, most people want us anyways- no bragging and all. But I mean . . they don’t find the true us, and only use us. ”

Seems now Chai is frowning, thinking about other things as his words turn into whispers, chuckling with a sniffle as he wiped an eye.

“ Anyways . . I am gonna try and get some shut eye . . ”

“Serious!“He reported with a slightly cheeky grin before looking back at the sea before him and adjusting the wheel’s position slightly. “Use you?” Randy echoed with a frown, looking back at Chai with a rising amount of concern. “Alrighty then… I’ll wake you up when we’re closer to shore..”

” Yeah.. use me. “

Chai sighs, nuzzling into a board now, shivering from the cold. ” Thanks . . see you soon then. “

“Sorry to hear that…"After a spell Randy left the wheel for half a moment to grab a blanket out of his satchel and gently place it on Chai. Ultimate placing blanket powers!

” Mn . ..~ Thank you Randy . . “

Then Chai snuggled up and fell asleep happily, hearts in his bubbles.

"No problem-o!"The rootbeer float moved back to his place at the wheel, slowing beginning to zone out on everything but the islands,the weather, and the wheel. He frankly did not enjoy the prospect of the ship getting tipped over by crazy freak winds today.

Randy adjusted his bag’s strap so that it was digging slightly less into his shoulder as he walked. The thing was stuffed with folders and tubes of maps he had drawn during his latest set of adventures over seas. While the glass would prefer to still be on said adventures at the moment, he needed to hand over said maps to his boss in order to be paid. The plan had been to just bee line to the office then bee line back, b u t he accidentally bumped into a certain cup. “ Ah! Sorry about that!”

Paper, ink, pencils, etc, etc. Normally the mug would have left by now but..He did kind of want to see Chai once more before he zoomed off again on his adventures that mostly had no telephones laying about to call people.

Well Chai was at his post, yawning a bit as he took a sip of some Sprite.

Randy had been messing with the ship’s steering gear and setting up spot next it with a map"Well I do kinda go on them for living!“

“ Then this should be easy! Where are we going, Randy? ”

He looked at the map ,noticing all the places and chuckling.

“ I’ve weirdly been to these, all of them~”

“Really?” He questioned with a touch of surprise while circling a blank section of the upper right corner of the map"And we’re headed to some isles that are rumored to be around here!“

“ Sounds cool to me~ As long as I am with you, Randy. ”

Chai kissed him again and hopped onto the boat once again.

“ Let’s sail~ We should get to the closest island by sundown and sleep there though for safety ”

He blushed before walking across the deck to untie it from the dock and also to pull the anchor up. “W-well that’s if everything goes as planned, or if the islands are even there. Also there’s the chance that we’ll run into trouble on the way there!“Randy rambled on about all the things that could happen as he started up the steam boat and steered it out of port.

He just stopped him as he continued to ramble with a light hug and a boop to the nose.

“I wasn’t worrying though! I was just speculating! It’d be fun if any of those happened!!” Randy seemed to have lost a few of his marbles. Probably more than just a few. It’s a side effect of adventuring mostly alone for a majority of your life.

Randy honestly didn’t know how to feel about Chai still. On one hand he did like being in his company , but the other was that if the tea continued to accompany him on life risking quests with a heart condition..well.. The mug decided to not think about it for now.

"Half a day if the weather stays clear.” He replied accepting the snuggles because those are fun! “Also is your heart doing the thing again?” He frowned having noticed the slight wince.

Randy adjusted his bag’s strap so that it was digging slightly less into his shoulder as he walked. The thing was stuffed with folders and tubes of maps he had drawn during his latest set of adventures over seas. While the glass would prefer to still be on said adventures at the moment, he needed to hand over said maps to his boss in order to be paid. The plan had been to just bee line to the office then bee line back, b u t he accidentally bumped into a certain cup. “ Ah! Sorry about that!”
