Hello! Welcome to the blog of a person with too many hobbies. When I 'need to' do research for any of these, I tend to fall into rabbit holes a little bit. So I hope you enjoy some of these rabbit holes.
New book arrived! I wanted to learn more about plants for my fantasy and sci-fi writing, so I figured this would be a good addition. It's quite an academic read, so it feels like studying to read it and it's going to take me a while to go through. But so far it's super interesting so I'm happy I got it.

It's geometry that you would get in high school on top, some trigonometry on the bottom left, some of the most well-known integrals next to that, then in the last image just the tangent graph and the explanation of the a,b,c formula for quadratic polynomial equations. That's all high school math except (some of?) the integrals, and the integrals you'll get in your first post-high school calculus course I'm pretty sure.

Doctor who is my special interest in the way that I couldn't get myself to watch any of the original series or spin-off stuff until recently - and that's still going very slow - because it was more comfortable to just rewatch nuwho, the series that I'm familiar with. And I only managed to keep up with the seasons of nuwho by regularly rewatching up till that point. Like i've seen all episodes of 9, 10, and 11 so often i could probably reconstruct at least 90% of the plotlines without reference. But i've wanted to watch og doctor who for probably 5 years and i only just started with the first season

Here's MIC DROP and FAKE LOVE. MIC DROP still feels weirdly recent to me, but I think that's because there was an English version and I think of it as related to the newer fully English songs somehow.
Reminder: S is for steal (I would wear the fit/ 'steal' it or inspiration from it), """ is around my favourite, and :/ for my least favourite (but I probably don't hate it, it's a context or preference thing).
I really loved seeing them back in their hip-hop fits with MIC DROP, it felt like it had been a while. I have 4 different fits from the MVs to judge (although 1 is mostly from live performances I think).
Starting in the top left with the black-red-and-white combination. These fits look cool and comfortable so I would steal most of them. Taehyung's is my least favourite because he's the only one who doesn't follow the colour scheme properly, which washes him away slightly as these colours pop so much on the dark set. Jimin's fit is my favourite, because it has all 3 main colours, and the white makes it pop most (next to Hoseok's but I feel he's a bit too red to be my favourite).
Let's go reverse clockwise and go to the bottom next, where we have a picture that makes it hard to tell what they're wearing but oh well. This has a lot of camo, which I won't wear myself, so no real steals here. Jin's fit is my least favourite, I guess? His colour scheme matches the least, but I don't feel strongly about this. Jungkook's is my favourite, but you can hardly tell what he's wearing so this is kinda just showing you my bias.
Moving right and up, I remember these as the main fits of the MV, and the long shirts under the jackets look so good dancing, but idk how good they would look on me if I was just walking around. I think I'd lose shape, where here they accentuate shape during dancing. Anyway, I would still try with Namjoon's and Yoongi's. Yoongi's fit is also my favourite, I like the sweater and the light pants. Hoseok's is my least favourite only next to the rest, as the colours are alittle off from the scheme everyone else is wearing. With a white shirt under or just in a different context I think it would be better, it's only in context with the rest.
Last but not least for MIC DROP, the top right, where Jungkook's is my least favourite because what is happening with that tied shirt and I don't love camo. I also have to say Hoseok stands out, with his fit being most different from the rest, but it's less confusing than the tied shirt situation with Jungkook. Though Namjoon is a ? because I fully can't tell what he's wearing and I'm too lazy to look up more pictures now. Jimin's is my favourite because that looks the most comfortable, like I'd easily wear that. But it's close with Yoongi's & Taehyung's outfits because black and white just tends to be good for everyone.
Then we move to FAKE LOVE! Black and white and purple vibes? yes please. Let's go clockwise here because why not, starting at the upper left.
The theming here is a bit messy, with most wearing a lot of black, white and grey, but some strong pops of colour. But because of that happening with both Jungkook and Namjoon, and a bit with Hoseok and Taehyung, it comes back together. The vibe is a bit of a painterly/ sketching thing, with the paintsplatters, grey, and patterns. Honestly I really love this because much of what they're wearing looks like something you could do with DIY, which I do a lot with clothes now, so I honestly just want to make some of their outfits (a little different maybe, but the idea of it at least). I don't have a least favourite because they all have a bit of that mismatched but somehow matched DIY energy, and I would wear literally all of them. Jimin's was my favourite by a small margin when I made this, which I do still agree with, but it's also a pretty much impossible pick.
To the righ twe have our little e-boy moment. I think anyway, fits like these with the harnasses & belts, black and white and a tiny bit of red, feel very much e-boy to me, which I absolutely love and also wanna wear more myself maybe. Namjoon's fit is my least favourite, but only by a very small margin because the choker looks a bit out of place as it is not perfectly white (it would look better on Taehyung as he already has some off-white). I'd steal most of the other fits, they look great, black and white and belts is *cheff's kiss*. Jin's is my favourite because the stitches on the shirt & harnass he has look really cool, though it's a close call between him and Hoseok because of the pants & belts.
Moving down we have two pictures with bisexual lighting. They have comparable vibes in outfits to the picture on the bottom left. For Jungkook the fit is different but the jackets are similar, and for Jin the shirt+harness are different but similar in vibes, while the rest are wearing a more completely different fit. I'll compare them to the MV fits (as these are live show fits) more in a second, but first general judgement. Jimin's fit is my least favourite, because the shirt looks a bit weird in the screenshot (it looks better on the left screenshot, but idk, I can't tell what's happening on the right). I know Hoseok's fit is the only one with that much jean-material, so he stands out, but I think it works here. I'd steal most of the other fits, just not Yoongi's and Namjoon's because they're a little too shiny for me. But special shout-out to Namjoon's leg harnass situation because that is the best part of his fit. I guess I just like men in harnasses (jk jk, unless...)
Let's move to the bottom left now, were I don't have super strong opinions. The outfits really fit the MV, I like them, but because some are so shiny glittery I'd only steal Yoongi's, Jimin's, or Taehyung's fits. Taehyung's is my favourite because he has the most harnass-esque situation going on. For a quick comparison, Jungkook's fit here vs the picture on the right of it are similar in vibe, but because he loses the shiny it's a downgrade. On the other hand Jin gains a cool harnass thing and his pants became leather, so his fit is an upgrade to me.

I was definitely a fan before these two came out, here's Not Today, and DNA. They really went from 1 outfit to 3 so quickly.
Starting on the left with Not Today, probably the MV I've watched the most because I was obsessed with the choreography. For the outfits, Jin's is my least favourite. I feel like his stripy shirt is so close to the vibe, but just barely missed it? Not sure why it doesn't work for me. Weirdly I almost have the same with Hoseok's stripes, but it helps that his are more muted in the MV and the shirt does work for him. Amyway, I'd like to wear Yoongi's, Namjoon's, Jimin's, and Hoseok's fits, or at least use the components in my wardrobe. I didn't include Jungkook's because I don't really wear blouses like that, but it works for him. Taeyhung's is my favourite fit, which I only wouldn't steal because I could never keep a white jacket clean for long. I like how he's the opposite of Yoongi, sort a, with the white and red contrast, them next to each other looks coolest.
Now moving to DNA, where I have a lot more fits. I remember this feeling like a very different era, where the marketing shifted to be much more global, and I think from here we don't get a lot of footage outside for a while, just sets inside somewhere. Very strong contrast to Not Today, in a way.
Anyway, I didn't actually look into that, so let's focus on the outfits again. In the top left of this section, we have the darker fits of the MV, mostly red and black, with a little bit of blue and white. Namjoon's look is my least favourite because he is channelling baseball player a bit too much for my comfort. With the strong red in Jimin's, Hoseok's, and Taehyung's fits, those three are my favourite for this section, though I think they do also look stronger because the others aren't wearing as much red. Of these three Hoseok's is my favourite, don't really remember my reasoning and it's a hard choice between them, so I'm just gonna move on as if I've made an argument here.
To the right we have more black & red fits, these are from promotional material. A brand deal I think, but they look good and idk what brand and don't care about brands, so whatever (remember kids, making your own clothes inspired by brands is much more fun than buying overly expensive brand clothes). I don't have a least favourite, you can tell they were styled with clothes from the same time/ brand/ line, it looks very cohesive. But it is also a bit more basic men's fashion, which unfortunately tends to be boring. Nothing BTS wear will ever really look boring, but on an average person in the street I don't think these fits would look super interesting. Not bad, just, you know, there, and that's kinda all. Regardless, Jimin's fit is my favourite, because I love his little tanktop and jacket off the shoulder moment.
Right below we have the fits from the introduction of the vid (and throughout, but most recognisable from the beginning). I like these fits but I don't wear colours this much, so I wouldn't really steal any fits. Jimins is my least favourite only because I would hate to wear so much glitter, that jacket looks uncomfortable (but like obviously it looks good on him so don't take it too seriously). I'd only really wear Yoongi's, Taehyung's and Jungkook's fits because they're not too boom! colour. I forgot to add the S above Taehyung, probably because I don't know if I really have the confidence to pull that off, but I think it can look hot on anyone so fuck it. Jungkook's fit is my favourite because I like the jacket & jeans combo and then having just a pop of red.
Let's move down one more, to the bottom right. I don't love these fits, they're a little basic and vaguely sporty (which is not really my vibe), but they do look comfortable. I think it's because they don't stand out against the background, so it looks a bit flat (the other fits have either scenes with more contrast or a calmer background so they stand out better). I don't really have a strong opinion, besides that Taehyung's is my favourite fit, as he and Jungkook stand out best but I like the dark pants more.
Lastly we have a mid-dance formation judgement, moving one over to the left. I think Jin stands out being the only one wearing a suit (with a t-shirt, but still), which makes his my least favourite fit. I do love the suit, but the business casual level is just a little strange because he's the only one with that here. Hoseok's outfit is my favourite, again I just really liked the lightblue jeans with white, and the hoodie is nice. Unless that's a tank-top thing over a hoodie that Hoseok is wearing, which feels wrong texture-wise, in which case Yoongi's fit would be my favourite.

We have Blood Sweat & Tears, and Spring Day. I think this is when I became ARMY, I feel like I was waiting for spring day as a fan, although I'm not sure anymore how much I knew about BTS before BS&T came out.
Reminder for how I judge these: """ means the fit was my favourite, :/ my least favourite (personal taste! I don't hate anything here), and S for if I would 'steal' aka wear the fit or something similar if I could.
Starting with Blood, Sweat & Tears, their sexiest MV yet. Not to objectify them, but the MV was just... pure erotic art without being literally erotic? I loved this era so much. Anyway, starting on the top left, with these fits that I don't remember if they were in the MV or just in the promo and live performances, but they feel iconic enough for the era to include them. When I was making this canvas I named Namjoon's fit as my least favourite, I think because he's the only one without a fun pattern on his jacket, but I do love his neck ruffles. All the jackets are cool but I wouldn't personally wear that many flowers, so I'd only steal Taehyung's, Jin's, Jimin's, and Yoongi's jackets. Jimin's is my favourite by a slight margin, I think because he has the fun neck ruffles too.
Moving on to the middle, with their pyjamas. Some of these fits feel like a preview for IDOL now. I don't have a super strong opinion on these, they all look comfortable, but also they're still pyjamas. Jungkook's was my least favourite because I feel like the jacket thing & pants clash a bit. Maybe the shirt underneath pulls it together but I can't see it so idk. Namjoon's face and pose in the pic is just a mood - look at him and his deadpan stare, I'm also tired my guy I get it. But back to judging clothes, I think I would wear Jimin's or Hoseok's fits most comfortably, though shoes in bed no thanks. Hoseok's is my favourite because the tanktop is fun and artsy.
Lastly of course we have the iconic mv outfits. I put my judgement with the picture at the bottom, because you can see the full fit the best, but of course I did include some other cute pictures because I couldn't not. I don't have a least favourite here, they're all too iconic. I'd only steal Jungkook's or Yoongi's because I don't think I can pull off that much glitter or the deep feminine-ish v-necks of most of them, but both Jungkook's and Yoongi's v-necks are a bit more masculine I guess? I think it's the fact that Jimin for example, who has the most iconic fit obviously, has a more rounded v-neck, that wouldn't work on me, but it makes him look androgynous. But yeah all of these fits have their own power so I couldn't even pick a least favourite.
Moving on to a very different feeling MV, Spring Day! There's three different sets of fits here, and I'm starting again in the upper left corner, which is the main MV fit. Taeyhung's fit is my least favourite, purely because I don't like the hat. As it says pointed to the picture next to it, "without hat, with jacket, the fit is actually great". But since he does wear the hat a lot I'm going with that. Weirdly I didn't like Yoongi's jacket too much either (at least not for me), which is the only reason his fit wouldn't be a steal for me. I don't love wearing shorts, but for the top half of the body I'd steal Hoseok's, Jimin's, and Jungkook's fits. Jimin's is my favourite because it's so iconic for the MV, and also that cardigan looks so fucking comfortable.
Next, we're moving over to the right completely, to the tower of clothes, which feels very me & my unfinished sewing projects coded. Anyway, it's a little hard to see what they're wearing exactly, which is why my opinion is not super strong here. I don't love Jin's fit, because it looks like he's drowning in that thing, and not in a super intentional comfortably oversized way. Jungkook's is my favourite because that's a cool turtleneck.
Moving one down to the last - the party fits! Yoongi's is my least favourite because that jacket is very shiny, and doesn't fit the overall comfy sweater/ jacket aesthetic in my opinion. Hoseok's and Jungkook's outfits are ones I think I could pull off, and they seem comfortable. Honourable mention to Jin's turtleneck sweater, I don't wear a lot of yellow, but if that sweater would look good on me I would like it a lot. Jungkook's fit is my favourite by a small margin because the sweater has a unique neckline design and I'm mostly just curious about it.
I'm making a language (conlang), currently focussing on its writing system. I made it complicated. Showed two of my friends, asked them to judge my insanity level.
Friend 1: "I'd say a solid... 7 or 8"
Me: "Out of?"
Friend 1: "10"
A few moments later after i also explained it to my second friend.
Me: "So friend 1 rated it 7 or 8 out of ten, what do you think? I thought that was a bit..."

Starting with Young Forever. I'm pretty sure the two pictures on top are from promotional material and not actually from the MV (that or I'm remembering wrong, I did these a while ago), but I'm using them anyways. Well, a little bit. I don't love the shorts, but Namjoon's is my least favourite. Probably because of the suit-shorts combination. It just doesn't work for me. It looks like he forgot to put on his pants. But I realise this is a very specific opinion so don't hate me for it please, I don't actually think he looks like that. Yoongi's fit is my favourite because the flowers look cute on him. Wouldn't really wear any of these fits though, because I definitely can't pull of the pants. Especially not with long socks.
Moving one down; pretty boy suits-ish fits! I don't have a least favourite because I can hardly tell what the full fits are on this picture, but Yoongi's is again my favourite. The beret and flower-bowtie thing are cool to me. Wouldn't wear it though, I don't think a beret looks good on me. But I think I would look cute in Jungkook's, Jin's, or Taeyhung's fits. Also honorary mention to Namjoon's jacket, I really want to know what that texture is like, it looks so interesting.
Lastly for this MV, my terrible screenshots. The fits are all very similar, which makes Jimin's my least favourite because he doesn't fully fit the vibe with the stripes. But that's not a strong opinion, because again these fits are so similar. I like the pattern on Yoongi's shirt the most (triple win for Yoongi on this mv!), and I would wear it too. Not with skinny jeans though, I couldn't pull that off in 2025.
Now to the upper right, FIRE! They look so cool in that video I was slightly surprised to remember the amount of holiday patterned shirts. Anyway, starting with the fits in the middle, Jin's is my least favourite because it looks like he dressed up for the office while the rest got the same memo of... whatever this theme is. But he looks good with a v-neck so I can't complain too much. I think I could wear what Jungkook & Taeyhung are wearing, since I like their jackets the most and am still not over ripped jeans. Though again maybe not skinny jeans. Taeyhung's is my favourite, because the contrast of his hair and the cloudy sky jacket works so well.
Now the alternative outfits of the MV, in the upper right corner, where again someone got a wrong memo. It's slightly less cohesive but it's pretty clear Taehyung wanted a cowboy hat and the rest is mostly still wearing the same vibe as the other outfits. If I'd try to wore more colours I'd do it in the way Jungkook's & Yoongi's fits work. When I was making this I said Jungkook's was my favourite, but I'm not too sure now, I like both a lot.
Finally (for now, I have so many more of these posts coming), Save ME. No good pictures, but as it says, "all good fits tbh". I think it helps that they look cool, dramatic, but also incredibly comfortable. I'd honestly wear all of them (I'm bringing back short sleeves over long ones, at least for me, you can join too if you like). Jimin's is my favourite because of the sleeves thing, along with Yoongi's but his shoes are a little too light for me.
We're getting some higher definition, cause I could only fit 2 on one canvas.
Moving on to DOPE and Run, and for both we have 2 sets of outfits. Reminder the """ signifies my favourite, :/ my least favourite, and S or steal is an outfit I would (partially) like to wear too.
I tried to teach myself the choreography of the chorus of DOPE once. Unfortunately I am not a dancer and it looked bad, but honestly it was still fun so I would recommend it anyway.
Now the actually fit judging. I'm only commenting on the job-specific outfits, because the other ones are all the same. Also I don't have much to comment because the only thing I had is Jungkook's fit as my favourite (but also acab). He just looks good in black. Because these are mostly uniforms I don't have much of an opinion on them besides that tbh.
Then we have Run, where I have 5 pictures for one of the outfits, and only 1 for the other 2 fits. I think logic was already out the window by this point in making these canvases, or I just realised I didn't have enough space for 3 MV's and just put some more to fill the canvas with these 2. Anyway, starting with the main MV outfits, I really love Jimins blue jacket (I'd wear that too), which is what made it my favourite. It also works really well with his hair colour. Jin's is my least favourite only because of the surroundings; the jacket looks washed out and almost puts him in the background. For the rest of the fits I'd mostly steal the jackets because they're cool.
It's a little hard to tell what the full outfits are with the picture in the middle, which is why I didn't rate it. But I do think Hoseok's is probably my least favourite because I don't like gold, and the combination of the patterns isn't working super well for me. Jimin's fit here is probably also my favourite, and I like most of the other jackets too.
Finally for the picture in the bottom corner Hoseok's was my least favourite as well. I think it was because I didn't love the neckline, but here I didn't really have a strong opinion. Taehyungs outfit is my favourite because the combination of the prints, patches, and beret look very artsy. These are less my style though so I wouldn't wear any of these outfits specifically.

Starting with War of Hormone, where Jungkooks outfit is my favourite by far. I think this is the video that made him my bias back in the day. Plus it fits my style so I would wear that full outfit. I'd also steal Yoongi's outfit, or at least the pants. Namjoons outfit is my least favourite, because it looks like he didn't get the memo that they were all going to dress punk and just wore a suit.
I feel like I NEED U has the first outfits that feel generally more modern and less specific for early 10s K-pop. Not that they moved away from the angst. I couldn't really pick between Yoongi's and Hoseoks outfits as my favourites, but I like that Yoongi's has a bit more colour. I would only steal Hoseoks and Jungkooks though, because I don't look good in orange lol. Jimins is a bit too basic for me, which is why it's my least favourite.
Moving on to FOR YOU. They all look so serious here. Unfortunately Namjoons outfit is my least favourite again. It's mostly because it's so white, and I don't love fully white looks, but the pants are a bit awkward lengthwise as well. I do like the inkblot-test-pattern sweater that Jungkook and Jimin have on, so I'd steal that. Also I've been wearing tshirts over longsleeves again lately so Jimins outfit is my favourite.
