Hello! Welcome to the blog of a person with too many hobbies. When I 'need to' do research for any of these, I tend to fall into rabbit holes a little bit. So I hope you enjoy some of these rabbit holes.

New book arrived! I wanted to learn more about plants for my fantasy and sci-fi writing, so I figured this would be a good addition. It's quite an academic read, so it feels like studying to read it and it's going to take me a while to go through. But so far it's super interesting so I'm happy I got it.
Spotify alternatives
It's time, let's leave spotify. I did some research for myself, but maybe it can help you too. Here's some options with pros and cons.
Tables will be easier to read in the file, with links to referenced articles included!
We immediately ended our Spotify subscription because we heard an ad for ICE recruitment. Here are a list of alternatives with the pros and cons of each listed.
Started learning a language a day on a weekly cycle cause i can never be normal about things. Haven't done any language learning in years, so now I'm doing 6 and a programming language. It's a genuinely fun structure though, I feel so much better motivated than I ever was about language learning back in high school

If yall needed more of a reason to pirate Spotify then guess what! The CEO of Spotify Daniel Ek has a second company that he funds from the money he takes from the music artists on Spotify.
This money funds AI Military drones and trains Artificial Intelligence to control firearms and nuclear weapons in Europe!! So here are some Spotify alternatives for both US and European users.
Apple Music
Deezer
Tidal
Youtube Music

Yesterday evening I suddenly realised I might understand every equation in the beautiful mind equations because they never looked that complicated, I've just never really paid enough attention to check. So now it's time to procrastinate my actual studies and figure this out
It was way more boring than I thought
It's geometry that you would get in high school on top, some trigonometry on the bottom left, some of the most well-known integrals next to that, then in the last image just the tangent graph and the explanation of the a,b,c formula for quadratic polynomial equations. That's all high school math except (some of?) the integrals, and the integrals you'll get in your first post-high school calculus course I'm pretty sure.
Slightly disappointed, but the more you know I guess

Doctor who is my special interest in the way that I couldn't get myself to watch any of the original series or spin-off stuff until recently - and that's still going very slow - because it was more comfortable to just rewatch nuwho, the series that I'm familiar with. And I only managed to keep up with the seasons of nuwho by regularly rewatching up till that point. Like i've seen all episodes of 9, 10, and 11 so often i could probably reconstruct at least 90% of the plotlines without reference. But i've wanted to watch og doctor who for probably 5 years and i only just started with the first season
Part 8 - BTS MV outfits
I made one canvas dark because my screen was starting to blind me. but I forgot when I increased the canvas size so oops.
Part 7 - BTS MV outfits
Part 6 - BTS MV outfits
With two canvases this time, because these need some more space.
I'm making a language (conlang), currently focussing on its writing system. I made it complicated. Showed two of my friends, asked them to judge my insanity level.
Friend 1: "I'd say a solid... 7 or 8"
Me: "Out of?"
Friend 1: "10"
A few moments later after i also explained it to my second friend.
Me: "So friend 1 rated it 7 or 8 out of ten, what do you think? I thought that was a bit..."
Friend 2: "Conservative"
Me: "I was gonna say high, but alright."
Part 5 - BTS MV outfits
I struggled with this one.
Part 4 - BTS MV outfits
We're getting some higher definition, cause I could only fit 2 on one canvas.
Part 3 - BTS MV outfits
The canvas got really messy for this one sorry.
