I’m been sitting here thinking of Moana ships for months. Moana/Kida, Moana/Ariel, Moana/Merida, Moana/Elsa…
I advise against shipping Moana with Elsa. Moana is a teenager at 16, Elsa is an adult at 21. I’m not really sure about shipping Moana with Kida, either. Kida is at least 8500 years old, and seems to have stopped aging somewhere in her 20s.
Ariel, Merida, Aurora and Mulan are all 16. Jasmine is 15 and Belle is 17. So you’d probably be safest shipping any of them with Moana.
I always thought shippers aged up the characters into adults. It's not like a 3 or 4 year difference is gonna change their designs dramatically. Pretty much every Merielsa fic I read has had Merida as a adult, for example. Tbqh, most people don't even realize characters like Snow White and Ariel are so young so they automatically write them in adult form.
