This is how I record, mix and master my material. Tape deck is run into miniKP3 for limiting to average the overall DB of the recording, the compression is a function of how much you turn up the volume on the tape. As you turn up the volume the headroom is reduced and bass frequencies begin to compress higher spectra (120hz and above) giving a warm side chained duck style compression.
