I cant believe i have to say this, but DNI if you ship adult and minor characters. I do not ship Maul with any of the minors in the franchise, and I dont want any further arguments. This is final. Respect my decision.

hey guys sorry no artfight right now but i need to draw some stuff for my mental health. on the bright side i think i'm hitting a breakthrough in my lineart leaning into the rough sketchy painterly type shit

anyway i actually just wanted to do a quick doodle of what maul would look like with fangs and it turned into this. Id really like to combine his cw look and his phantom menace look, as i'm a big fan of the fierce + graceful visage. i also just like the way tpm maul sucks in his lips to look scary

So if i changed a part of zeds colors mid artfight would you attack me or would you attack me in the really bad threatning real life way

Updated my fursona's design for artfight, and gave him a name. Say hello to Midnight Blue. He's very curious, and sometimes gets in over his head. He talks a lot in spite of not being drawn with a visible mouth when he talks. I went for a more comic-strippy design, something that could be drawn over and over.

Maude didn't have any other pictures with her new design so I thought I'd change that! This almost looks like an album cover(i say if i didn't just eyedrop the orange from nancy sinatras strawberry wine)

Maul recovering after the events of son of dathomir, and he and zed feeling bonded and secure enough to confide in each other about their pasts.

I haven't been feeling so well lately. I've had a lot of health and anxiety problems. This was comforting to work on.

Anyway jokes aside, some years into the healing au, Zed finds an orphaned Iridonian Zabrak child. She's starving, traumatized, and emotionally stunted. He absolutely would have found someone else to take her in, but there was no one else around.

It takes a while, but she eventually reveals her name is Sisu, and even longer to reveal that her parents were killed by the empire. It takes even more years than that to reveal the details of that.

Her parents were harboring a jedi for a while. She didn't understand much. She just knew that she was helping keep someone safe who was special. Sometimem later the Jedi departed, and one day Sisu got into a typical parent-child argument. She lashed out in anger and ran away to hide, but from what she heard in the distance, her instincts(she's not force sensitive actually!) tell her to stay hidden. She comes out and sees what Luke saw on tattooine. Needless to say its why she's so messed up and emotionally stunted.

Naturally, Maul being a Zabrak, she takes immediately to him. He's used to looking intimidating, but he knows whats going on now, and he doesn't like it. In this AU, he is in some way introspecting, but at times he'll just wallow in regret and self pity, and get into some of his bitter moods. Time will tell if he becomes attached.

Yes maybe this all is stupid and far fetched but frankly after getting into dragonball z where vegeta gets with the girl whos ex boyfriend he killed i think i'm not being too rediculous

For those who have known me for a while, you may recognize this character. I'm working on branching off from cookie run because its disappointed me one too many times. So I'm just taking the characters i liked from there and making my own franchise for funsies.

Zed(my oc) hasnt been this happy in a while. Because he's a technician and stealth agent, i thought the idea of him finding and "repairing" spybot would be perfect. I'm not sure of the specifics. I think Zed would pick up a damaged droid and reprogram it but also scrambling its mind in the process. Its like his assistant on missions. The droid redistribution system strikes again.

(I dont know the specifics yet of how spybot looks, and im hoping disney releases more promotional profile references for the characters.)

This is a warmup so its not a very good sketch, but i was thinking of this one and how I thought at the time it wasn't very plausible of a face for him to make, but it made good practice

Ive been trying to fight i trusive thoughts lately. They can be scary depending on how you look at them. You can antsgonize them, you can tell a joke at them, mess with them, but its still attention to them. Antagonizing my ocd never worked. I suppose you could hold that part accountable, demonize it. But its a part of you. You cant just have a shadow in there that you antagonize all the time. And that voice is just very sad and scared. You just have to steer it in the right direction. Help the voice feel safe. Itll get tired after a while, and you'll make peace. You could just let it fester, but what good would that do? I think making oeace with a part of myself thats ugly is just more constructive, and more hopeful.

Its also a lot less intimidating to imagine it as a needy, maladaptive cat. Every cat from hell just needs a solution.
